Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Yes this has something to do with the laser lens. it mostly happens when you change the position(vertical to horizontal or vice-versa) of the console while it is on and playing. i'm so sorry to tell you this but in this case, the lens has changed it original position so as to read the disc well in its new position and as such burnt through the first, second and third layer of the disc causing permanent damage to it and so it cannot be read again. though it would detect the cd but would not load the game. i heard the only way you can go about this is to get a clean copy of the game(maybe from a friend) and install it on the HDD of the console and this way it would play even when you put in the bad disc. i'm not so sure of this though. let me know if you have any other issues and hope this helped you?
