Question about Sony Handycam DCR-IP5 Micro MV Digital Camcorder
I have a Sony DCR-IP5 Camera. I opened the camera to change tapes. I replaced the tape and the camera will not close. I checked the code which is C32:11. I looked in my manual and this code indicates this is something can correct. Can anyone help me with this problem?
I solved my Sony Camera problem by throwing the camera in the trash and vowing never to purchase a Sony Camera again. When I saw many other people posting the same problem on the internet, I came to the conclusion this is a major problem with Sony Cameras.

Tips for a great answer:
My name is Rick and I am the owner and technician of Discount Camera Repair. The problem you are experiencing can be repaired fairly inexpensively but will require disassembly by a qualified technician. The camera will need to be disassembled to remove the tape mechanism and then the tape mechanism will need to be disassembled to repair. If I can be of any help please call or email me and I'll get the camera working for you.
