It can't really hurt the hardware. By not shutting it down properly, though, you can lose data or damage programs. In order to shut down, all the open files must be closed and this is what the system is designed to do. By just turning off the computer, some files may be left open and not finish writing to the hard drive. This results in lost file clusters and the resulting loss of data. Much can be fixed by running a scandisk, but there's no guarantee. var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_17db2df8e38d488da43eb7f6457b238e(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_80bb9b0587c1423a8a9869cc1228ee62(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); }

My computer off directly from the plug then it will be damaged from hardware or not?

Usually doesn't generate any problem, but you shouldn't do it that way, however in the bright side there is almost no possibility of computer hardware damaged, if you have windows probably will tell you that windows wasn't shut down properly, just ignore it and enter on start windows as normal.

I cant get nothing to work on my laptop now has it crash i get a massage that say shut down to keep from harm and check chkdsk/r but how when i cant get to safe mode or anything

Your computer could be infected by viruses, or your hardware could be damaged. What that blue screen means, is that your computer was shut down to avoid hardware problems, such as your motherboard not being able to hand the voltage.

INSTALLED ITUNES BUT WONT INITIALISE

Right-click iTunes icon

Select "Run as"

Dialogue box asks: "Which user account do you want to use to run this program?" "Current user..." and "Protect my computer and data from unauthorized user activity" are the default selections. Underneath these selections is the following note:

This option can prevent computer viruses from harming your computer or personal data, but selecting it might cause the program to function improperly.

Bingo. In other words, staying with this default option may cause the program not to function.

Deselect "Current user" option (which lists you as the current user)

Select "The following user"

Enter your exact same user information in "The following user" dialogue box (your Username and Password)

[i] Example: More than one login is set up on my computer. My login to my computer (not using real information here, obviously!, but as an example) is user:

Username: Phuong
Password: *********

This will makes the iTunes fully functional.

Hope this helped. If you need any more assistance, don't hesitate to come back to me. Else, if the problem is solved, please DO ACCEPT this solution. Best Wishes. Thanks for using FixYa.

The laptop tells me that one of the drivers is having a problem and it shuts down on its own.it is an hp nx 7300

It refers to the Drives not drivers. It simply means that your hard disk have a lot of floating data files due to improper shutdown or hardware failure. So, to resolve this, windows shuts down to prevent further damage.

When windows open, open My computer. Right click on your Drive C and click properties. Click TOOLS Tab and Click CHECK NOW. Then schedule a thorough check.

USB card memory drop & files lost

Your card is showing signs of improper removal or virus infestation. I would run a virus scan on it at once, back up any remaining data (after scanning of course), then follow the instructions when you remove the card from your computer. Not shutting down the card before removing is similar to turning off your computer without shutting down first. Usually it's ok, but it can cause data loss.

Good luck.

Did you upgrade or totally reload the os from scratch? Usually improper shut down sequences are caused by corrupted os.
