Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
We bought the tv 07/29/2007 and hooked it up and everything worked fine,
but slowly the picture on channel kept getting worse now we can not get the channel 3 sub stations either. We bought a HD antena and that did not
help either. We hooked up a converter box to our old tv and that tv works great, gets good picture on all stations. What is up with our TV?
The tuner section, and or the voltage regulator circuit that supplies it is probably failing. The service rep for your set may be able to order a new tuner module and install it. This is not a type of repair you can do yourself.

So, For anybody who doesn't know yet, you do not need the factory remote to restore button functions to your Insignia IS-LCDTV26. All you need to do is program a universal remote that can power on and off the TV, then
"**press the "MUTE" Button 10 times successively**"
and Voila! Unlocked, you should see the status appear in the corner of the TV if everything worked, if not try another tv code or try the manual search function on the remote to find another compatible code set.
