Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I just had the same problem! I gently tapped the the bottom of the handle with a hammer in a clockwise direction. It finally unlocked and is now working fine. Good luck!

SOURCE: I have a very old cuisinart food processor

Unfortunately the CHM models no longer have replacement parts. If the workbowl parts says something like DLC-7 or DLC-10, then you can call Cuisinart and get replacement parts. CHM models would require finding somthing on eBay.

SOURCE: Sunbeam Food Processor/Le Chef 14-11, 14-1A

My mom gave me her Le Chef that had several cracks in the handel and also the place where the handel attaches to the bowel with a screw was broken. I Used Loctite super glue for the crackes in the handel and a loctite epoxy putty that can be molded into the shape needed to fix the place where the screw attaches the handel to the bowel. After the putty set I sanded it to refine its shape and matched the screw hole in the bowel with the handel then drilled a small polit hole in the handel. I slipped the handel into the slot in the bowl and attached it with the screw and now I have a good as new Le Chef.

GENERAL ELECTRIC FOOD PROCESSOR MODEL 106622F WORK BOWL

I was able to locate a bowl for the 106622F processor on E -Bay. You may be able to find a blade on E-Bay. From what I gather, there is no source for replacement parts, other than used parts. I hope this helps ! Good Luck....

Need bowl for west bend food processor

The West bend site for replacement parts and manuals for their food processors is here:

http://www.westbend.com/catalog.cfm?dest=dir&linkid=126&linkon=subcategory

Only the PRFP1000 has a replacement bowl available.

If this is not your model you will have to try to purchse from a secondary parts dealer. Try contacting a local small appliance repair shop or send a parts inquiry to this site to see if they are able to locate your bowl:

My daugher set the food processor bowl on a hot burner. We tried to melt it back into shape but that didn't work. I can't find a web site for replacement parts. Is it easier just to buy another?

You didn't specify the make or model of your food processor, but you should be able to find a replacement bowl. Abtecparts.com or PartStore.com are two places that you might look. However, you might find that a new bowl costs almost as much as a new food processor. Good luck!
