Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

1 Answer

Any other suggestions for installing MS Office 2007?

I tried your suggestion. I had already uninstalled MSO previously. I installed OpenOffice and used it for a while. When I found too many incompatibilities I uninstalled OpenOffice. Now I cannot install MS Office again due to that error message.

Any help would be appreciated.

You will do well if you state the specific message it was displaying.

In the meantime, go to

Control Panel

Add or Remove Program

And make sure you check if their is any Microsoft Office or OpenOffice and make sure you uninstall it.

Reintsall a fresh MS Office or Open Office if you wish.

Yes you do. Suggest use Magic JellyBean Keyfinder, and find the original product key code for the MS Office 2007 that was installed on your computer,

http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Be aware that what you have may be a trial version. Expires after 30(?) days.

It is illegal to post a product key for MS Office. (Because in essence you would be stealing the software if you got a product key, illegally)

The product key code is installed on your computer, when MS Office is installed. What really happens is a hash value is assigned to your computer, that matches that product key.

It can't be duplicated,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_value

I would suggest you use OpenOffice instead.

1) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice on it.

2) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

3) IMHO there is No learning curve. The user interface is VERY similar to MS Office.

4) IT IS FREE

It is Open Source software.

I downloaded a free trial of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and did not receive the product key. Any suggestions?

Hi

You don't say where you downloaded from.

Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs

Remove MS Office and MS Office Trial completely (including all components).

Don't worry, any documents you have already created will not be affected.

Resatart the computer.

Go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install again, carefully following each step.

If you do not wat to buy or cannot afford full MS Office, consider a free, comparable program -

Open Office - from:

www.openoffice.org.

You can use this simultaneously with MS Office Trial.

If you delete MS Office Trial before the 60 day expiry, and follow the above procedure, removing all components and restarting before downloading and installing, you can enter into a 2nd 60 Day trial period.

Hope this helps.

Microsoft office wont let me save or write anything

Hi..
You can first Uninstall and then re-install ms office..if that does not resolve the issue then try the following...
Microsoft office contains many softwares like MS word, Outlook,Excel,Powerpoint etc
Now, MS Office is a PAID software, you need to pay for the whole software to use it.
However you can use openoffice software which is FREE alternative to MS office suite. Openoffice has it's own word, excel ,powerpoint files and it FREE TO USE.

Please click on the above link to download openoffice.

Good Luck :)
I have provided you a free of charge solution to your problem, please rate me accordingly.

It is now asking for a product key. The one i have is not working

Hi,

All laptops and desktops come with MS Office preinstalled and are only trial versions. When the trial runs out you are then required to purchase a new product key from Microsoft.

The majority of the MS Office software will be disabled unless you buy the key.

The only other thing that I can suggest is OpenOffice. OpenOffice is completely free to use and recognizes all MS Office files and allows you to modify them.

Get Open Office by clicking on the link below >>>>>>

I need a free product key please i have texts to

If you are a student and you must have MS-Office, I'd recommend getting Office 2007 Home and Student edition. This will lower the price quite a bit and you can install on three PCs (see Microsoft Office End User License Agreement).

If you just need an office suite, may I suggest OpenOffice. These were developed by Sun Microsystems and are free under the GNU/GPL license. These programs are quite robust and are able to keep up with the MS-Office. If you are already used to MS-Office, learning curve for OpenOffice is simple. Also, you can open and save MS-Office documents. You can download OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org. There are a wealth of online help for leaning to use OpenOffice.

Cannot find the microsoft word to write my resume on my labtop and cannot open other files sent to me.tried downloading and it is not wporking.i have an inspiron 15 with windows vista premiun home edition

Hi there,

As an alternative to the eventual expense of the MS-Office Suite, I'd suggest downloading Open Office from Sun Micro. It does everything MS-Office does (including opening any file MSO can) and it's free.

I've been using it for five months now, it hasn't given me any problems at all. (And, no, I don't work for them)

How can you beat that.

Best regards
Mike

I have windows vista and MS office preinstalled on my laptop and ms word is not working.

Dear sir,

Generally Preinstalled windows Vista comes with 60 days trial MS office 2007.After 60 days trial expires,& it doesnt work.So you have to buy new office 2007 genuine software.
We cant suggest any pirated software because software piracy is theft.
so solution is buy MS office Genuine Versions.

Good luck

I need a product key for ms office 2007

If you have purchased a new computer and get the MS office insalled on it already. It remains valid for 60 days. later on you have to contact microsoft to purchase it and you can use the following links. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX101538731033.aspx however, if you do not want to pay any money, I would suggest you to install open office which is almost similar to that of Microsoft Office and it is free of cost. Please use the following link to install open office. http://www.openoffice.org/ If you have the cd for MS office. pleas check on the cd or envelope for key.

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007

Hi,

In my experience, when you're buying new laptop especially with Windows Vista Bundled (pre-installed), they will also install Microsoft Office 2007 Evaluation Version, which mean you have to supply activation code which also mean you have to buy it! (the license). Except the full version of Microsoft Office has been stated as "included" in your purchase.

If you don't want to bother to invest by buying Microsoft Office 2007, you can try to use "open office" which is free and support Microsoft office format also (http://www.openoffice.org/)
