Make sure the door is closing properly, that nothing is trapped in the door seal, and that the seal isn't torn or distorted. The seals are there to stop moist external air getting in then dropping its load of moisture as it cools. A.

SOURCE: Build up of ice on bottom of LG fridge freezer

Is it supposed to be self defrost? If so then either underneath the freezer needs to be cleaned. coils if dirty will cause freezer not to work well. I that doesn't help you might have a freon leak which would make it under charged and would ice up like that.

SOURCE: my ge fridge model TBX18k lg has water build

Remove the food from the freezer and then remove the rear freezer wall . Should be 2-4 screws and maybe a clip on each side on the top vent . Once the panel is removed , useing a hairdryer , defrost the tray below the coils until you can see the drain hole . Defrost the drain hole until water begins to flow into the hole . Use a small hose inserted into the hole and blow out any debris which has accumulated . You can also use hot water to help defrost the drain hole . Once completed , reinstaal the panel and of course , food .

I have a bottom freezer model # RB215ABBP/XAA with ice behind and inside the right-side vegetable drawer; some vegetables froze. Why?

Samsung has had this issue for a long time now. The problem is the drain in the refrigerator is clogged and leaking inside. If you remove the drawers and look back then you will probably see a rusty line where the water has been leaking and you will see water under the bottom long deli drawer.

If it has been leaking for a long time then it is recommended to replace the evap cover in the fridge section as the foam gets waterlogged and will cause future issues. If it just started the you should be ok.

There is a new drain kit part# DA82-01415A that will solve this issue.

The fridge should be defrosted for 24 hours prior so you can get the evap cover off without damage from the ice (unplugged and doors open for a full 24 hours. Longer times may be needed if this has been happening for longer then 2 weeks.)

Is this the Samsung 4-door fridge/freezer with a round water-filter between the two drawers in the Refrigerator? a) Is your water-filter correctly installed in it's place? b) check where the water-drops are coming from: it could be the ice-maker - need to call Samsung service.

Ice under the deli drawer

it could be that u have a leak.. sometimes this happens when to much water is delivered to the ice tray and it overflows a little leaking into fridge. if that is happening then u most likely have a problem with the water inlet valve at the back of fridge, u can buy the part on line at appliancepros.com. good luck

STANDING WATER UNDER DELI TRAY

Try going further than defrost and draining the hose. There is gunk that builds up and you need to clean that out. Use a pipe cleaner(the fuzzy wires used mostly for art projects. They actually can clean pipes and water lines!!) Also, you can pick up a pack of pellets used for breaking down the "gunk" build up.

Water Pooling & Freezing

Assuming your fridge has a defrost cycle ( I.e. is a frost free model), you are probably suffering a blocked drain hole or pipe, leading to the top of the condenser or a tray nearby, where the frost water can evaporate.
The pipe can block with food or a mould plug, leading to water retention that freezes and further blocks the drain. the water is produced when a heater switches on in defrost mode and thaws the internal or external ice build up and, with nowhere for it to go it will pool on the bottom and may, when in defrost mode, run out onto the floor.
With frost free fridges/freezers, there is a drain outlet, usually hidden behind a removable panel inside the fridge/freezer compartment or, a drain hole near the bottom. If there is a drain pipe as well, access is usually from the rear base of the machine. The pipe is usually removable and can be cleaned out but prepare for some water to escape. An ice block in the drainage hole can be thawed using a hair dryer BUT GENTLY, so as not to warp the plastic inners of the fridge.

Water build up underneath deli tray drawer on samsung refrigerator model rf267 series, french door with bottome freezer

Ok. I know why this is happening. Or at least in my case.

The coil for the Fridge is stored behind the center panel when looking directly into the the Fridge.

What happens is the drain for the coil becomes iced up. It then wont drain and when the fridge goes into defrost mode the melted water will run out of the bottom of the center panel. This is difficult to see due to all the shelves in the way. i noticed this because I could see ice through the vent holes in my center panel.

To fix this:
Take all the items out of the fridge.
Take all the shelves out so the center panel is exposed.
Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the panel and single screw under the cover of the shelf rail. (This one is a little hidden) pop off the plastic cover first.

Now you can pull the panel off.
(Note. This can be a little difficult to get off because you have a ton of ice behind there keeping it stuck to together. Just ease it off as much as possible.

When you get this off you'll most like see alot of ice in the tray that the water is draining into. chip this ice away and then I used Hot water to pour into the drain. I would then use a shop vac to **** the water out and put in more hot water until the ice plug is removed and the water can flow freely to the drain pan under the fridge.

That is it. I own this fridge and I've been tired of having to **** water out of fridge with a shop vac every 2 weeks. So I decided to resolve this myself.

*disclaimer. I'm just a DIYer not a Samsung repair person.

Good Luck and I hope this solves your issue.
