The music player needs a dedicated software in order to function properly. It is called 'SD-Jukebox'. Download the zip file from the link below, extract it and run 'setup' file to install SD-Jukebox to your computer. Here is the link:

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

you don't need any software. You only have to put the device on and then plug it to the usb port then it will have an usb connetion and you can put your files in the player.

SOURCE: help me how to put music to panasonic sv-mp730v

When the battery is charged it should appear as a USB storage device to your operating system.  You can interrupt the charging by pressing the `mode' button if your battery is good.

I found with my (SV-MP730V) that with a duff battery, I got the symptoms you describe ... now I have to find a new battery!

SOURCE: My PC not detecting This MP3 player

It sounds like you have got rid of the software on your mp3 player which is why it isnt recognised. You say you formatted it rather than just deleting what you did not want. I take it that you formatted your mp3 rather than the computer? If you formatted the computer you may have drivers missing.

For MP3 player SV-SD350V (Panasonic) The SD card Kingston 8GB cannot be detected by the program SD- Jukebox V5

Your MP3 player might not problably support sd cards which have more than 2gb. BTW, if you want to transfer MP3 files into the MP3 player, you're gonna have to install the software comes with the product.

I downloaded songs but could not play

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Reset the player and see whether it works.
Also make sure the player is fully charged or new batteries are inserted if it is battery operated.

Good Luck!

Why my laptop cannot read sd card or sv-sd350v

Dear balavuddh476,
The problem could occur due to a variety of reasons. Try one of these solution to see if they can help fix it:
  1. Have the driver for sv-sd350d have been properly installed? If not, try re-installing it.
  2. Have you correctly plugged the USB cable in? Maybe it is broken, misconfigured, etc.,... Try finding a new one online.
  3. Maybe the operating system doesn't support the device. In that case, try update driver or roll back to the recommended OSes that support the device.
If these solution won't help, it is recommended that you bring it to the nearest customer service.

Best regards,
TheJay

Music + 2 Gb-sd-card = ?

Just an FYI, I bought a 16 GB SDHC card for my eware (Panasonic SV-AV20) and found out that the highest compatible card for this device is only 1 GB! (according to http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/connect/d_snap/sv_av20.html). I kept getting a "CHECK CARD" error so I know it won't work. You might want to see if your devlice is listed on a similar chart.

Connection

should have at least windows 2000 sp4 or xp sp1 as operating system. plug into usb port on computer while computer is turned on. computer should recognize and install it as mass storage usb device and assign it a drive letter. sometimes xp will recognize it as a panasonic mtp device. this doesn't matter, you can still drag and drop files on it through windows explorer file manager.
