Miele g640 premier inlet/outlet light flashing ???

Just wanted to mention mine was retaining the fabric softener and skiping steps in the cycle and intake red light was flashing too. Once
I cleaned the draw and used a toothbrush to unblock the holes in the ceiling its working again perfectly. Miele Novatronic W 828.

Miele W1926 check inlet light flashes at the end of rinse fill. When the fill ends, the light goes off. I cleaned all 4 filters at the intake hoses. The problem still exists. What does it mean?

Hi dear.According to what you're saying,It has faulty water inlet valve.Machine unable to get enough water to do it's cycle in given parameters in time period & starts giving error but before the cycle complates,however it takes enough water,that's why error lights goes off.If you can,you need to change the valve or call service department.I hope that helps.Thanks.

The 'inlet/outlet' red indicator light flashing, small pool of water collected under filter, but cannot get back of to clean it. Model is Miele G646sc

You might be able to reach if you take the sides off. Elect disconnect, open door, remove 2 cross head screws recessed at top of where door closes, push top cover backwards an inch then lift off. remove 2 screws at top of each side panel then the lower ones (4 a side) panels then lift off and you can see right across the bottom of the 'sump' including the float switch assembly. (which has no effect on switching on the inlet/oulet lamp on my d/washer.)

Usually indicates a intake or drain fault - could be a plugged drain line at the garbage disposal or insufficient water coming into the unit

Inlet blockage red light flashing

Try turning the machine on its side, undo the bottom and check that the polystyrene float (attached to a switch) is not somehow jammed. This float cuts off the water if the machine leaks internally, and produces the symptoms you describe. It's a really good machine so don't throw it away!!

If that still doesn't help then it might also be the motor brushes, which produce similar symptoms - if your machine starts to fill but then flashes and just drains again, it's almost certainly the brushes. This might be the case after you check the float problem.

it is suggesting that you turn water off at the wall spigot and take hoses off and clean the screens in there .

Miele washing machine

All Miele washing machines and dishwashers need to fill in a required time. Flashing inlet (Tap icon) indicates that the machine can not fill in time. There are filters in the end of the hoses which connect to your water supply from the machine and filters in the inlet valves which you can get at by removing the hose from where it fixes onto the machine it'self. You will need some long nose pliers to grab the little tab on the small filter to get it out. Clean all filters and hoses. Still same problem then check the pressure of the water coming into the machine. There should be a good pressure coming out of the hose and will be difficult to stop the flow of water with your finger.
