Question about PANDIGITAL Panscn02 Photolink Scanner

We have lost the cleaning items listed as necessary to clean our photo scanner. Is there something else that we can substitute, or a way to procure the items listed in the user guide? Thanks so much, Vicki Arnold

Taran, our scanner does not have a glass surface, so your solution will not work for us. It is a scanner that you slide the picture through, i.e. we cannot access the internal parts. Our scanned pictures save with lines across them now. Definitely needs cleaning. The user guide specifically states NOT to use alcohol. Please help. Vicki

I am not happy with this solution, Taran. It does NOT work for my scanner, which is the one pictured above. I feel like I wasted $12 on this!! Vicki

Hi,

You could also use a soft, lintfree, cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol or household glass cleaner to clean the scanner glass surface.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

How do I delete photos off of the card after I have saved them to my computer?

If you have connected the scanner .... using the mini-USB port at the back of the scanner ... to your PC, and you have already downloaded (copied) the photo directly off the card to your computer ... you can select the photo's (on the card) that you do not want (e.g. click on the item / icon list) ... and press DELETE ... like you're deleting a file off one of your folders/directories. You will be shown a pop-up window asking you to confirm if you really want to delete those (selected) files (photos). Click on YES.

Yes, the PC sees the contents of the card as a "list" of files in the (card) folder. So, just delete the photo's (files in the card) folder like you would delete any file.

If you have the card (removed from the back of the scanner) and inserted into your PC (e.g. via a USB card reader) ... and you have already (selected and) copied the photos (files) to your computer, you can do the same (as above) to delete the photos off the card. That is, select the photo's you want to delete (by clicking on the icon or item listed) and press the DELETE key.

Canon scanner speed slow

Various ways....Try these! the slow problem wil get off

How to change the resolution (Windows)
The precision of printouts can be improved by changing scanning resolution.
The higher the scanning resolution is, the more precise the scanned images are represented, however, the file size gets larger.
The scanning resolution can be changed before scanning photos.
Note: When the scanning resolution is doubled, the image data size will be quadrupled.
When the data size is large, the throughput speed may slow down or may occupy too much of the computer's resources (memory).

You can clean the scanner glass with warm water and a dust free cloth. Is the line always in the same spot in your scans? Could be something else other then dirty glass.

New cooktop. spilled food how to I clean it up

I need more information. Smoothtop? Gas? Electric? Stainless steel? Smoothtop, scrape what you can off with a plastic credit card or something similar. If necessary use a razor blade. Finish cleaning with a liquit polishing top cleaner made for smooth top ranges. Regular use will leave a smooth finish that will make it easier to clean. Us only a plastic pad or other non abrasives. Regular porcelain top. clean up as best you can with a dish rag. scrape with a plastic tool. Use oven cleaner if necessary. Don't get oven cleaner on painted or aluminum items. It will remove numbers, writing etc and badly stain aluminum.
