here is the owner manual. look on page 16 and you will see one way to wall mount. Ragarding the size of the bolts needed, go to the hardware store and get one bolt of each size close to what u think u need and use the trial and error method. OR go to an electronics store and ask one of the techies. Be nice and they will help u for free.

SOURCE: TV says no signal from direct tv box

Yes, something could have gotten changed.

Confirm what input connection the DirecTV receiver is connected to on the back of the TV. Using the remote, check that the TV has that input selected.

SOURCE: i am at a hotel

No, not a remote problem: the tv can't get out of the Hotel mode because the control processor is no longer capable of loading the correct data from the firmware. The only way to fix that is to reload the firmware, something you can't do since the tv isn't yours.
There's nothing you can do, sorry - just ask them to replace the tv and don't attempt to mess with the next one, the owners of the hotel might take it badly and make you pay for the repair.

My tv screen is always black. I want to know how to fix the screen.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Not sure if you've decided to throw your remote control away already or not. But I've only used option B only for an LG TV and it worked. My suggestion would be to turn your dvd player off and configure your TV first. I can't help with the split screen, sorry! The trick is the distance you put between the remote and the TV. When using option B, point your remote about 1mm away from the signal receiver on your TV! (where you see a red light or something) Took me around 1 minute or more. Just talk to someone on the phone while waiting for your TV to turn off. Remember, hold the "power" button down until you see a reaction!

Monitor shuts off during boot. Let the machine boot full up, hit the power button, the monitor flashes windows for a split second, and goes back to power saving mode

Hey there Celius,

Chances are the 'Refresh Rate' somehow got set too high for the monitor. On flatscreens , the result is a black screen.

If you have an old monitor (crt type) hook that up temporarily and reboot.
  • Right Click the Desktop
  • Click Properties
  • Click Settings
  • Click Advanced
  • Click Monitor
  • Lower the refresh rate or set at optimal
  • Check the box 'Hide refresh rates this monitor can't display'
Shutdown, Switch back monitors and try it now.

Good luck
