Removing the hard drive from an Acer Aspire notebook just takes a few minutes. here is how:
> ? Turn the Acer Aspireoff. Unplug all cables attached to the system and turn it face-down. Remove thebattery. ? Remove the screws holding down the hard driveaccess cover and pull the cover away. The location of this cover varies frommodel to model, but it is readily visible on the back of the computer. SomeAcer Aspires' hard drive bay covers have only one screw; others have two. ? Grab the hard drive andpull it out at an angle. On most systems you need to push the drive to the lefta little bit and then pull up. Handle the hard drive from its sides. ? Replace the hard drivecover and screws. Put the battery back in and return all cables to theiroriginal location.
