I have an aquaracer automatic and it gains up to 6 - 10 minutes in a day. I have had it fixed before and it was fine for 12 months and now it has started again. Is this normal?

All of the watches I have owned have run for many years without attention and when you buy one as expensive as yours, I would expect similar reliability.

I suggest that you speak to the maker (or contact them via their web site "Tag Heuer.com") and discuss your problem with them.

TAG watch is running fast

You need to find a qualified watchmaker to correct this problem.

If the movement was replaced twice the same problem would not be happening again and again unless there is something you are doing that puts the watch in some kind of field to magnetize it or the place you took it to did not really do anything.

My guess is they did not do anything since you say they oiled the crystals. Just oiling a watch will not solve this problem. A qualified watchmaker would know this.

Hope this helps,

My Timex men's watch ran fine for a couple of months and then started loosing several hours over a 48 hour period. I changed the battery but after a while it began to do the same thing. The id on it is:...

If it is only two months old and you have proof of purchase (did you register the warranty?), the take it back.

Most watches have at least one years warranty.

If you take your watch to a repairer for your make, he should be able to put it right for you.

Omega Seamaster gaining about 10 minutes per hour

Hi honestfunguy. Take it back! Omega watches are usually guaranteed for 2 years or even 3 years (Co-axial escapement), so you should not have a problem getting it repaired under warrantee. No way should it be be gaining (or losing) 10 minutes per day, let alone 10 minutes per hour. Could be any number of things, from a broken mainspring to problems with the timing regulator, but they are very complex watches and should not be looked at by anyone apart from Omega whilst in warrantee, otherwise you'll probably void the warrantee. Screen not working T Touch Titanium (Totally Useless)

I suggest you have to find the decent watchmaker and do not use dealers services anymore. In my opinion you have been overcharged in both cases.
Consider replacing touch screen if it is damaged and then sell it on ebay (anyway you do not like it). For watch in working order you have to get quite a decent money. If you gonna sell it as it is, you will get pennies only.
Later just buy another make and forget about this unlucky example. :))
