Hello,
In the desktop properties, try changin the background to "None" and see if it gets erased. If it does, then choose one that you want now.

If it doesn't let me know

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

First, try updating your graphics card. Find out what company designed your card, either Nvidia or ATI. Find the model of your card. In Windows 7 go to "computer", right click, then click properties. Then device manager in upper left corner. Under Display Adapter it should say what card you have, updating can fix a WORLD of issues. If that doesn't work go to the "search for files" under start menu. Type "msconfig" . Under services click "hide windows services" then post a picture of this list to me using print screen or something. I can tell you if you've got something nasty still running.

Wallpaper is not properly set on desktop.

For Win7 and Vista:

1. Click on the Start Button>Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Change desktop background

2. Choose the picture you want for your wallpaper.

3. Under Picture position, click on the arrow to change how the picture appears on the screen. Fill means the picture will fill the screen .

4. Click on Save Changes.

If you are having other issues please post a comment and include the Operating System and more specifics of how the wallpaper is not set properly.

Thanks for using Fix Ya.

My desktop icons are written clear but under colour

If you are running XP, click Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

Follow the prompts and select a bold date back to a time earlier than this problem occurred. It will require a reboot, but stands a good chance of resolving your issue.

It will not remove anything from your computer, but you may have to re-install any software recently installed.

If you get it fixed and then re-install some software, the problem may come back. That would let you know the software is causing the problem.

E-mailing photo picture way too big. I must resize but no help in help menu under Editing Images- It's not there.

After you insert the picture, right click on the picture and it should give you an option something like resize to fit or like that. If this fixes your problem please rate as fixed. If not, don't rate and add a comment that you need more help and I'll be glad to help you further.
