Question about Garmin GPS
You must go with-in 50 meters to the SECURITY LOCATION for the unit to automatically unlock then re-enter new pin number...
Other that that you will need to send in your unit to Garmin with the proper receipt of ownership.... all units are register with garmin for security in case of it being stolen.
Most use there home or office for their security location..... not a good idea tho, all one has to do is press home and your unit will be unlocked for the thief
