I had to do that before to. Then after a while I had to unplug the whole computer just to get it turned on (which is not good for it) but be careful cause about a few months of doing that my mother board crashed and I ended up buying a whole different tower. Is it a dell?

My Bernina Activa 135 Patchwork Edition won't sew. I haven't used it for abou a year. Could it need oil?

Since your machine is computerized, oil ONLY as advised in the manual. I've heard from other users that they've experienced computerized machines slow to warm up after being in storage. You may want to turn it on and leave it on for awhile. Don't leave it unattended though in case something else is haywire.

While warming up my car how can i lock my doors and leave car unattended

You can take the key fob with you and leave the key in the ignition. I do this on my diesel truck all the time. The keyless entry still works when the vehicle is turned on

I have a 2005 Saturn Ion with the anti theft light on at all times. the car starts fine but the light won't turn off.

I suggest looking in your owners manual for resetting gauges. I know on a friends honda he had to leave the key in for 10 minutes unattended in the on position and then turn it over and put the car in reverse. Also if you have installed anything aftermarket dealing with electronics this could have upset the security system. The most common cause is a cd player. Hope this helps.

Computer will not power on

i would guess that the motherboard has been damaged, perhaps with excessive current or AC power out ? perhaps the CPU heatsink fan failed and damaged the CPU ?

what was the circumstance while the computer worked well , the last time you used it ?

did you leave it on while plugged into the wall AC power outlet -- perhaps overnight or for a lengthy time period , leaving the laptop unattended ?

do you know if the battery was working well , last time you used the computer ? was the AC ADAPTER WORKING WELL ENOUGH TO FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY ? PERHAPS THE BATTERY WAS NOT CHARGED up siufficiently to allow power to turn ON THE LAPTOP, THUS W/O POWER FROM THE BATTERY AS A RESULT OF A BAD AC adapter, now the computer has no source .

here is a link to some information you can review to assit you .

let me know how you make out with these questions. i'd like to help you resolve or come to a conclusion .

Lights turn on and off, keypad is out of control, F3 Code appears in the display.

F3 on a GE / Hotpoint microwave means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and please do not leave it running unattended.

We regularly repair such control units for customers nationwide by mail in about a week or so with a one-year guarantee.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for pricing and more information & help.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
