Is this a Nikon digital? If so:
"F--" means there is either no lens attached or there is a non cpu lens attached. The "Rxx) is the estimated number of images that may be taken with the present media card.
For the lens: TUrn camera off, remove lens and carefully clean the cpu contacts on lens mount and lens itself with a cotton swab lightly dampened with pure water. DO NOT OVER WET THE CAMERA OR LENS. LEt dry thoroughly, replace lens and try again. Try manual mode. If there is a camera hardware reset buttion, try that....Good Luck!

How to remove a monitor cover from a Nikon D7000 camera

Do you mean the BM-11, or really the glass, covering the monitor? because the last is not possible. To see how to replace a complete monitor, visit ifixit.com, because they do these kind of repairs. They show the pictures or even video. The BM-11, if you don't have a battery grip (if you have, first remove the grip) then from the under side with a finger nail, click it forward, under the word Nikon on the BM-11.

Black Screen cant take pics but can view them

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

No pic on the monitor

Canon has an option to keep the pic from showing up on the monitor-go to 'clear settings' and put everything back to default.

Protected card pops up and I cant take any pics?

Remove the card from the camera.  There is a small slide tab on the card which shows a picture of a lock.  Move the slide tab to the unlock position.  If this doesn't fix it, replace the card.
