Same problem with a new KXTG7641 system, I have to reset the date and tiime every two or three days. Also, "New Message" will not go away despite the fact there are no new and no old messages. This phone has caller ID.

If you get a caller ID card installed on your system, the phone system will be able to correct it's time whenever you recieve a call... otherwise it should NOT be doing that

How do I reset my date & time for Panasonic kxtga470

The KX-TGA470 handset works with several models of Panasonic cordless phone base units. Press Menu and then press #. Next press 1 0 1 . (Alternatively use the arrow keys to navigate to find Initial Settings and then Set date and time after pressing Menu.) If you need to change the date, type in the date as three sets of two digit numbers (month, day and year). Then press OK. Next type in the time. Press OK and then select AM/PM with the arrow keys if you are using 12-hour time. Finally chose Save followed by Off.

The manual for the base describes setting the date and time. See http://panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TG4711C/OI/TG4711C_PNQX5094ZA/TG4711C_PNQX5094ZA.pdf on page 15.

I hope this helps.

On the kx-tda50 where to I hook the building's phone line up at?

In a base TDA-50 there are 4 CO ports in the second 4-port row from the bottom or back of the cabinet. They count from left to right if you're looking at the system with the SD card on the right.

PANASONIC KX-TDA-50 PHONE SYSTEM WITH KX-T7633 PHONES - HOW DO I CHANGE THE NAME ASSIGNED TO AN EXTENSION?

From the main phone, press PROG **1234 and dial 004. Press ENTER 2 times (watch out, it moves on the display) and you will be looking at 101 : OPERATOR if it's still unprogrammed. Keep pressing NEXT until you get to the one you want to change and use a combination of the keypad and the AUTO ANS button to spell out the new name. The STORE button saves it, the right arrow and clear button step back and forth on the line you're entering.

You can pick up the handset and drop it back into the cradle when you're done to exit.
