Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 Digital Camera

Help with viewing photos

I bought my Cybershot in the UK and when I plug in the leads supplied to the TV, the screen keeps 'rolling' (not stationery). Any idea what the problem may be?

UK uses PAL system for TV and USA uses NTSC, see if there is a setting in the setup menu to change it to NTSC.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

UUuuhh how do i send photos

You TV will not be able to send photos, as it has limited functions and is not set to work as a full computer. You however can view (receive photos for viewing on the tv screen.) If your TV has a USB port, you can transfer your photos from your computer or camera to a thumb drive (A USB memory storage stick) which you then can plug into the USB port on your tv.
There are other ways to send photos to your tv, but there is not space here to get into how to do that.

When taking off the car acts like its going to die and keeps stalling especially when wet out.

If this is a petrol engine and if it is at its worst in wet weather then you may have a spark plug lead problem or crack in the distributor cap. Run the engine when stationery and view the spark plug leads and distributor cap at night in the dark and get someone to rev it up and watch for sparks around those areas, New leads or cap will be required.

Tv picture keeps going out audio does not about every two or three min.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck

You are using the incorrect lead, this is to connect to TV To connect the camera to a PC you need to use the USB lead. What is the operating system of your computer?
