My hotpoint washing machine is showing error code F05

Hi
Error F5 means that the pressure switch is jammed on full. This may have happened due to blockage or obstruction in drain hose. To be sure check whether hose is plugged, if not then remove lower rear panel of the washer. Now you would be able to see drain pump and a large black hose on bottom of drum. Remove the hose from the pump; remember to keep a container near you to collect the water from the filter/pump. Remove and clean the drain filter connected with the pump and hose. Clean the pump and let it dry for a while. Now restart the washer after 2-5 minutes and your issue would be resolved.
Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

Hi our hotpoint wf541 starts its cycle as normal but doesnt spin and the mini load and reduce crease buttons flash as well as the on/off button, any ideas of how i can fix this thanks.

hi i had the same problem.
its either your filter is blocked or your pump is not working.
after switching the power off, remove the front bottom panel of the machine and unscrew the filter cap on the right behind that panel. check it's intact and clean iside, if not clean it out or replace it and that should fix it. be careful screwing the filter cap back in and make sure its on tight.
to check your pump is working you can pull out the machine and check that water is coming out of the hose by putting it on the pump out / drain cycle after pouring in some water for it to pump out.

Hi could anyone help me please..My Hotpoint WMA52 keeps flooding

It is not draining properly, or overfilling due faulty pressure switch.
Try cleaning the filter first.
Remove lower rear cover of washer.
Remove large black hose onto bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction here and in the pump.
Hope this helps.

Hotpoint wf541 will not finish cycle it wont do a final spin then all the ligts start to flash how can this be fixed

Possibly a blocked filter.
If no filter at bottom front of washer then you need to remove lower rear cover of washer.
Remove l;arge black hose fastened to drum.
Remve and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstuction or blockage here as well, and look inside the pump.
If all o/k, and it still does not spin, then it could be for one of several reasons.
Hope this helps solve your prob.
Thankyou

Sounds like a blocked filter to me.
Remove lower rear panel of washer, remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum, remove and clean filter inside hose, check pump for blockage at same time. You probably will not need to replace any parts
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
