All the machine manufacture for Usa work on 110 volt 60 hz and the format is Ntsc. You should check availability on line about region Format like NTSC-PAL -PAL2 SECAM and which country are using the same, and make sure the hz is 50.Most of the new Game system support Dual Voltage But not the Ps3.You need to let your seller check on the machine tag to make sure everything is correct like 220v 50 hz.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I buy My playstation 3 in u.s the power supply is 110v 1.5A. In my country the voltage is 220. Can i use 220v 150watts transformer

The playstation 3 is dual voltage, meaning that as long as you have the right cable (plug for the wall socket) it will run 100 - 240v.
I believe the only exception to the universal power supply is the PAL 60GB PS3 (CECHC01) model. That power supply APS-227 is not compatible with voltages under 220V.

Will my BES800xl espresso mechine (canadian version) work in Ukraine running on 220v? I also have a Juice & Blend BJB840xl and want to know the same thin. Would a high wattage bump up transformer wirk...

Hello, if in canada you have 110V in europe you will have 220V so, you need to find out if next the plug of your devices you have a switch that you can change between 110V to 220V. That will help otherwise you can burn the device.
Thanks

If I would buy a Onkyo TX-NR616 in the US (110V) and take it Europe (220V), wouldn't it be a solution to simply exchange the power transformer for a 220v one?

An stepdown transformer is needed should you buy in US and use it Europe

However, if your on a technical side , trace the primary windings , and check

There are European versions which are already 220V, no need to convert.

I bought a game inported from japan but when i played, it wont let me due to a region pattern , and i dont kno what that mean

Hello there,
Video games, just like DVD, have regional restrictions placed on them. If you buy a game from Europe, you will only be able to play them on consoles designed to work in Europe. This is the same for Japan, America, Australia, etc. Unfortunately, there is no legal way for you to be able to play a Japanese bought game on an American system or vica versa.
Here is some more information on "Regional Lockout." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_lockout
I hope this helps. Thumbs up if you think so!

I have a brand new IR compressor model 2475N7.5 with a 7.5 hp 460v 3 ph motor. is it possible to convert it to a single phase power supply? or should i just exchange it? ... I ordered it thru Northern Tool...

When you google home made 3 phase converters, you will find many ways to make use of 220v single phase instead, however you are limited as to the hp that the motor will produce. If you spin the motor first then apply 220v, the motor will continue to turn at much reduced hp. You need full power to turn a type 30 pump depending on pulley combination/ setup. Best to return the unit and get one that will run on 220v single phase. It will most likely consume more power to do the same work however it would cost a great deal to install 3 phase. Most likely not even available at all. Many years ago, I worked at Sears and happened to see an electrician coming down from roof access of building. He told me that sears had a 3 phase generator being turned by a 220v single phase motor to run an air conditioning unit. He said that it worked quite well. Does not sound cost effective.

Dryer timer counts off to fast

The only thing that I can think of is that you are using a dryer intended for Europe in the US. While they both run on 220V, the timer motor will be specific for the frequency of the country. The US uses 60 Hz. Europe uses 50 Hz.

To keep the explanation simplistic, your timer motor expect 50 electric (frequency) "beats" per second but instead is getting 60 beats per second. Your clock is turning an extra 12 seconds every minute.
