Your computer's hard drive is corrupted you can either send off for a recovery disk if you dont have one or get a new hard drive (or a new laptop whichever is cheaper i suppose)
Hope this helped, Good Luck!

If you have a hard drive issue, you need a new hard drive and then download the OS from windows, linux or whomsoever, then the drivers from Dell.

Dell screen comes on and trys to load up

Hi

Seems like the hard drive has failed, or there is no hard drive in the laptop, replace it with a new one.

This part of the service manual shows you how to replace it:

Dell Inspiron E1505 I get the BSOD even after using the recovery disc STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7A2C524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) what should i do

Run a diagnostics.
Make sure laptop is off.
Press and hold Fn key and press power button at the same time.
The PSA test will start and it will give you display test first then after the memory and hdd test. complete the test and wait until it gives errors like 0141 / 0142 / 0146.
If you get one of these errors try reseating the hdd. Then run again the test. If still fails then replace the hdd.

Dell Latitude C610 PC Notebook Problem

Hi,

With your indulgence may I clear something, you installed a new 60Gb HDD to your Dell Latitude C610? If yes, then you would need to partition, format the new HDD and install an Operating System.

If on the other hand the 60Gb is the original HDD, then it could only mean that the HDD is defective or that its files have been corrupted and likewise would require an re-install of a clean, fresh OS. In some instances, a repair could be done but the same would need the use of a recovery CD or a Windows installer of your choice.

There would be no limit to the capacity that you can install. The only limitation would be the physical dimensions and the way it is electrically connected internally to the laptop.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
