This is an indication that either your RAM modules have gone bad/failed or have disconnected and therefore are not detected. Take it back to the seller if it is under warranty, if not take it to a computer technician and he/she will diagnose the exact fault.

My IBM T41 make beep sound and turns off itself. What is happening?

You can try the steps below.
Try removing the battery and plugin the charger and try turning on.
Do you see any thing displayed on your screen when you switch on?
Please mention the beep pattern, 2 beeps or continuous beep.
Hope this helps. Good Luck

MY IBM R50E, IT GIVES ME 4 BEEPS SOUND WHEN POWER ON, NO SCREEN DISPLAY ALSO.

How will you describe the beeping sound that you hear? it might just be a video card problem.

Screen stays blank when turned on

take your computer to your dealer and send it for repair.

The problem is most likely the inverter for the screen.
actually to see if that is the problem you can try to put bright light to the screen and see if you barely see the picture.

No visual display

It sounds like your graphics card is shot. If your graphics card is a dedicated graphics card, you might be able to get it fixed/replaced; if it is embedded, then you are probably going to have to buy a whole new display screen.

System Stay's dark

This is most likely going to be a failed system board component. If it were the screen or video card you would still hear Windows starting up. However, let's try a few simple things that could cause this in order to rule them out. First, take the battery out and start with the supply only. Then remove the memory and try them one at a time in both slots. If it's still not working, then this will be a board component, and this problem can be very hard to track down, so I suggest taking it to a shop for diagnosing.
