The first to do is to check and see if D1878, is shorted, or any other semiconductors shorted in that circuity, taht are related to the Driver (D1878), and or the Cap. Replace the bad components and cap.

I replaced HOT then LOT.but HOT blow yet. B+ voltage also ok.what the reason.please help me.

Check the freewheeling capacitor used. It can be located at very near to HOT; will be connected to its collector lead to ground. If this capacitor is open / have loose solder terminals, this might happen. Check it. Usually it will be of the capacitance value from 3500PF2000VDC. to 9700PF 2000VDC.
Refer any circuit diagram to CRT CTV. You'll get an idea.

Tv blows 2sc4429 transistor

Check the freewheeling capacitor, connected between its collector terminal to ground for loose solder, or damage. Repalce this capacitor, before replacing the horizontal output transistor. If this capacitor is open, the horizontal output transistor will blow off, at the time of switch-on itself. Normally, its value will be grater than 3900pF & lesser than 9800pF[2500V]

Lg 29'' flatron tv circut diagram

Check the LOT. If it is faulty, horizontal output transistor will blow out. Check the capacitor connected across the collector of the horizontal output transistor to Gnd. If it is bad, or have any loose solder terminals, H-Out transistor will blow out. If you wish to get more check this link. Pull up older posts there, either by its left side bar, or see it in Timslide option.

this might be the problem of the disk capacitor of value 2kv, which is located at the horizontal section, i.e from the collector of horizontal output transistor.

ALL the next is with the tv unplugged (NO NO power)
  • resold the jungle (video processor) all around
  • following the horizontal drive pulse path and arriving to the horizontal area just after the horizontal transformer and in the base of the horizontal DRIVER there is a electrolytic capacitor (if this chassis uses this one,) Change it (maybe is dry)
  • solder all components i just told you in the last step. horizontal driver, transformer, etc
  • remember:
  • if a transistor is blowing with no reason (there is a reason: the collector receives 130 volts but cannot hold it forever, It has to be in some place. if the switching pulse doesn't arrive to it the transistor throws this 130 volts and burning itself. i hope it is help full.
