ActiveSync on your personal computer before you connect your
iPAQ Pocket PC to your computer.
To install a CompactFlash (CF) or Secure Digital (SD) card into
an expansion slot on the iPAQ Pocket PC:
1. Locate the appropriate slot on the top of the iPAQ Pocket PC.
To identify slot locations, refer to the Getting Started
document that came with the iPAQ Pocket PC.
2. Before inserting a CompactFlash (CF) card into the CF
expansion slot, pull the plastic slot cover from the CF slot.
3. Insert the expansion card into the appropriate expansion slot
and push the connection edge of the card firmly into the

Your 8 Gig card is a SDHC (HC=High Capacity) Card. All HC cards use a different format, which the 6515 can't use...
The biggest capacity the 6515 can use is 4 gig on the SD and 2 gig on the mini SD.
My 4g Transcend card and 2g Sandisk cards have been faultless for about 2 years now.
Sorry, but the 8 gig card is a wonderfull card, but is useless in a 6515

only some cards are noted as SDHD and some are just SD, newer large cards going SDHD and almost anything over and including 8 is usually SDHD. If you can find an old school SD card which is in the 4gig range it will work in this smartphone. I have used a 4 in mine without issue but I believe it is a limit with the phone that it will only support 4
