You need to check the condensate drain plug. It will be on the backside of the unit either in the left or right corner of the unit.

Wall air conditioning unit is dripping water into my condo

I have a 20 year old one that drips after a while on a hot day. I put a small bowl to collect it. It could be old or the ac unit ins't tilted enough to go outside.

Sounds like dripping water when on

Water, or in this case - condensation will be created and drip from the cooling coils inside the unit outdoors, if installed correctly. This is a normal condition. Like a cold glass of water sitting on a table or counter on a hot, muggy day; condensation will form. The amount of condensation forming on the glass - and cooling coils of the A/C - is directly related to the amount of humidity in the air.

Some A/C units have fans that not only force cool air out the front of the unit - but also spray condensate on the condenser coils (the coils that get hot and are visible from the outside) to help cool them down.

If water is dripping indoors - the A/C is tilted inward or drain holes on the bottom edges of the rear (outdoors) are clogged. Adjust the A/C support(s) so that it is tilted back (the bottom rear should be about 1/2" or 10mm lower than the bottom front) and inspect & clear obstructions from the drain holes as needed.

I hope this helps & good luck!

MLG LS307HV. Condensation is dripping off the bottom of the indoor unit. We've mounted the unit level but the left side continues to pull up. The wall mount is level but he unit is slightly out of...

the inside unit should be mounted with a slight tilt to the outside - so the water can drain outside.
also - be sure your drain hole (in the unit) is not plugged - either with dirt/debris.

The unit starts to drip water inside the house down the wall of the window that it is in

What you will need to do is reposition the window unit to where it is slightly tilted downwards in the rear so that the water flows out the backside.

Our air conditioner starts dripping water inside the unit inside the house.

water dripping is to be expected, dont worry about it. But it sounds like its not tipped to the outside enough. Also check inside under the cover, if leaves and debris get stuck in there it will change the direction of the water flow.

Dripping inside! The unit is also dripping outside (as I guess it should) but now has started dripping inside after about a half hour's use. The angle of the unit has not changed. Could there be a clog...

The base of the unit is like a tray which collects all the condensation water. At the back of the unit (the part that normally sticks out the wall/window) there is a small tube where the water comes out. It is possible that this hole is blocked up with dust that the unit has drawn in and once it gets wet will block the water run off tube or pipe that can be fitted to it. If this tube is not cleared the tray will fill up and over flow everywhere. Hope this helps you.

Samsung ac model aw25ecb7

hi! bill,
water drip it should be outsidethe house, beside there is a spout on the basin of your ac unit and hose to drip off outside the house, all you gonna do insert a piece of wood or metal on front side of basin, in between basin and the wall, just small piece object to elevate the basin to outside wall, the water will not stored in the basin.or make a spout, drill a hole 1/4" size at the corner at the backside of basin out side your house,be carefull not to drill condenser tube or the fan blade, insert a plastic hose 3/16" and weld it by glue gun.and end of hose put it an empty bottle so that the water drip will not scattered outside your house.regards and don't forget to rate me,thank's a lot
