Question about Pride New Jazzy 600 Power Wheelchair by Mobility

1 Answer

WHEN I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON THE BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL LIGHTS BEGIN FLASHING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT FOR ABOUT 10-15 SECONDS THEN BEEP ONCE AND SHUT DOWN. THE BATTERY IS ABOUT 76% CHARGED AT THIS POINT. I PUT IT ON CHARGE ABOUT AN HOUR AGO. WHILE CHARGING FOR 30 MINUTES I TRIED TO POWER UP WITH THE SAME RESULT. GOD BLESS FOR THE ANSWER.

Where it shows the charge of the battery it keeps running across the screen and you can't use the wheelchair. It won't move. It does this every time after taking it off the charge.

Spot does the lights scroll from left to right or right to left? If they move from right to left then shuts down completely then the chair is in lockout or sleep mode. To unlock - turn the chair on and immediately press the horn button twice ( beep beep) This should get it out of sleep mode. Now if the lights are scrolling left to right then the chair still thinks it is being charged and the inhibit function is bad. You can call your local provider to have a tech check it or you can call Repair Xpress at 1-877-581-3733 to check it they have atech in your area to check it. Hope this helps

it is needing to be calibrated because of dead battery.i cant remember for sure but i think you had to push rear wiper and recirc buttons at the same time and hold them down a couple of seconds. engine has to be running and at normal operating temp. lights will flash and vents will change heat to cold etc. if it fails any test the lights will just keep blinking untill repaired and recalibrated.
