I've reinstalled the software several times (I don't know how to manually online). I've emailed them several times...they don't reply (I think because they want me to buy their upgrade). I don't have their phone number.

There is no method to solve this thing. When you use fake serial or use any crack/patch on your microsoft installation, it gets detected by online resources of microsoft during online activities.
You should try to reinstall your windows, but then, next time while updating, checkoff the update I'm mentioning below. The following update of windows checks genuine software so better not to install them.

My first suggestion is to uninstall / reinstall. If this is Vista.... Try running the install several times. I have seen cases where it does not report an error but does not completely install and running the install a couple of times helps.
Can you afford to unintall and reinstall the program, if so thats what i would do. I always opt for a fresh install then you can get the most current patches also check there web page for installer issues.

so your saying that you just paid for the norton software? Have you installed it yet? If so have you used your registration key to register your software? If you bought it online and then downloaded the program you just need to install it from there and then if they sent you an email with your registration key use that to register your product and have a full liscense.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, MY BROTHER'S COMPUTER WAS MINE AT ONE TIME, HE THEN PURCHASED IT FROM ME AND REGISTERED THE SPY SWEEPER SO THAT IS WHY I COULDN'T PROVIDE THE CORRECT PASSWORD.
