Question about Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Full Version for PC

Jet Reports for Navision and Excel 2007

Excel 2003 resolves formula links in a Jet Report generated spreadsheet (e.g., C:\Program Files\JetReorts\JetReports.xla'!NL("Eval","=$d$1")) that is emailed to users and displays financial numbers correctly. Excel 2007 does not resolve formula links. Is there some kind of setting for 20007 that will allow this?

Dear pauline, you can link cells in formula bar to see immediate effect of additions and subtractions in dependent boxes.

Like for example you add three numbers in three boxes A1, B1, C1 and answer is supposed to go in D1, just type =SUM(A1+B1+C1)
in D1.

now when you will change the values of a b and c boxes, the value of d1 will automatically change. for adding more numbers you can leave boxes empty so that you can fill in later to see the change in the sum box.

lets say you have the column B with the prices. Got to column C right beside the first price cell (I'll take B2 as first cell for example) which is C2 and type
=1.2*B2

Copy this formula in the column C all the way down to the last price Cell. That will give you all the updated prices.

Before you delete the column B where all your old prices are you need to do one more thing. Select the entire C column (new prices) go to edit and click on copy. Before you click anywhere else go back to edit and click on paste special and select value. This will change the formula cell you have created a minute ago to a value cell. Now you can delete the old prices. Good luck :)

Ok - if your question is "What is Excel" - then the answer is that it is a spreadsheet program that allows you the ability to compute data (usually numbers) for example, pulling together a list of hours worked by employees and adding them up automatically. You can only put a password to the spreadsheet but there's no time expiration option, perhaps it isn't possible to do it.. Its an MS Excel limitation.

Can i convert cash register express data to excel and the to qb


certainly. most reports have a "save as excel" option once you generate them (at least, the full sized ones). CRE does have a direct QB interface however that is prob easier. you can also run direct queries off the database itself and save the results of those as an excel file.

It could have a virus or simply too much data in it or too much data linked to it. Try doing a copy of the whole spreadsheet, and then paste the data into a new spreadsheet. If it doesn't contain too many different formulas, try pasting only the values, and then replace the formulas manually. You might also try just deleting the links, if there are any. If this doesn't solve it, reply to this thread and let us know.

Excel 2007 spreadsheets


The most likely problem is that you (or somebody) has R1C1 reference style turned on.

In the TOOLS menu, choose OPTIONS and switch to the GENERAL tab. Look for the checkbox labeled R1C1 reference style. If it is checked, this will cause your symptoms.

Just uncheck the box and click OK.

I'm not sure what happens to existing formulas. If you (or somebody) has written formulas that rely on the R1C1 style, I don't know if they automatically get updated to the regular style or not, but that should be easy to discover.

Hi friends


Have all worksheets open including the one that is to be the tally sheet.
On the tally sheet, select a cell that you want to link to one of the other sheets and press the equals signto begin the cell formula. Without pressing the enter key, click on the cell in the other worksheet that you want to show up in your tally sheet.
Press enter to complete. This will link that cell in the two worksheets together as long as the spreadsheets remain stored in the same places.
