I am having problem with my CPU.When I switch on it state that low battery voltage.Please can you help me with some software or give information on how to solve this problem.Your time & effort in helping me will be highly appriciated, GOD Bless.

Had this problem once before on boot up, but can't find the fix for it.
On boot up, I get the message that says "battery voltage low" and I have
to hit F1 to continue or F2 for setup. My battery voltage is NOT low.
Does anyone have the solution to this as it's quite annoying to have the
boot stop and wait for the F1 command? I promise NOT to lose the solution
again. Thanks.


Just a guess, but is it referring to your CMOS battery and might therefore
be an early indication that it needs changing?

Electric Power Management
The vehicle has Electric Power Management (EPM) that estimates the battery's temperature and state of charge. It then adjusts the voltage for best performance and extended life of the battery.
When the battery's state of charge is low, the voltage is raised slightly to quickly bring the charge back up. When the state of charge is high, the voltage is lowered slightly to prevent overcharging. If the vehicle has a voltmeter gage or a voltage display on the Driver Information Center (DIC), you may see the voltage move up or down. This is normal. If there is a problem, an alert will be displayed.
The battery can be discharged at idle if the electrical loads are very high. This is true for all vehicles. This is because the generator (alternator) may not be spinning fast enough at idle to produce all the power that is needed for very high electrical loads.
A high electrical load occurs when several of the following are on: headlamps, high beams, fog lamps, rear window defogger, climate control fan at high speed, heated seats, engine cooling fans, trailer loads, and loads plugged into accessory power outlets.
EPM works to prevent excessive discharge of the battery. It does this by balancing the generator's output and the vehicle's electrical needs. It can increase engine idle speed to generate more power, whenever needed. It can temporarily reduce the power demands of some accessories.
Normally, these actions occur in steps or levels, without being noticeable. In rare cases at the highest levels of corrective action, this action may be noticeable to the driver. If so, a Driver Information Center (DIC) message might be displayed, such as BATTERY SAVER ACTIVE, BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW, or LOW BATTERY. If this message is displayed, it is recommended that the driver reduce the electrical loads as much as possible. See DIC Warnings and Messages.

How do I repair the charger portion of the unit without replacing the entire unit


No make and model # makes answering difficult so I'll have to give very general information. Also I'm assuming this is well out of warranty - otherwise call the manufacturer first. Now, when we start without any schematic we trace backwards from where we know the circuit should end. In this case you start at the battery terminals since you're trying to find the charging circuit. It is more difficult today since if there's a microprocessor in the mix it could be controlling when a given line is active, when the charging line is connected to the battery, or not. The charging circuit will be a constant-voltage circuit for Li-Ion batteries ~ 3.7 Volts depending on the battery. If it is Lead-Acid it will probably be 13.8 - 14.0 volts, if Ni-Cd or Ni-MHd then it depends on the size of the battery pack and again will probably be a max voltage of about 1.25V/cell * Number-cells. Once you find the circuit you can test to see if there is any output voltage and current when it is "on" - if it never turns on then the problem is either the circuit is dead or the CPU is not turning it on - if the CPU controls this. If you can find the line from the CPU to the charging circuit see if it ever changes state, if not you could try "forcing" a different state, ie, it the state is always off (usually a 0 Voltage) then try finding the voltage line to the CPU and place that voltage on the CPU to Charger circuit line. If the line is always high (anything from 3.3 V to probably 5V depending on the CPU's power requirement) then try lowering the voltage to a 0 state. This is much more difficult since it may require cutting the line from the CPU to the charger. If either of these gets the charger to work then the problem is with the CPU, if nothing gets the charger to work the problem is the charger.

Start by checking the battery. For a wet (lead acid) battery:

VOLTAGE (OCV) STATE OF CHARGE
12.8 100%
12.6 75%
12.3 50%
12.0 25%
11.8 0%

For an AGM battery:

VOLTAGE (OCV) STATE OF CHARGE of AGM Battery
12.7 V 100%
12.6 V 75%
12.3 V 50%
12.0 V 25%
11.8 V 0%

So all batteries are pretty much the same.

Then after seeing what surface voltage you have an recharging if low, the next step would be to get a load test done on the battery and clean and tighten the battery cable attachments at both ends of the cables. If it is not a problem here the next step would be to diagnose the starter and the starter system for which information as to exactly what happens when you activate the starer is necessary

Booting problem


It would help if we knew what brand and what type of camera has this problem. I hope I can help you with a few general things.
Try to remve the battery and place it back.
Check the battery because the capacity could be too low.
Be sure your battery is charged and ok.
If you do have a multimeter, you could check the battery.
On the multiemeter the voltage should be a little (few tenths of a Volt) higher than what is printed on the battery.
When it is just lower you have to charge.
When after charging the voltage stays below the printed value,
the battery should be replaced.
Some camera's have an option in the menu, that can switch of the monitor. That looks the same as if the camera does not start.
If this does not help, please give some more information about the camera and what you see or not see of what you expect to see.

HOW TO I KNOW THE BUS SPEED


You know 'Upgradation' is not a word, right? lol!

How about Upgrade ability?

The Intel D101GGC motherboard has a Front Side Bus MAXIMUM frequency rate of 800MegaHertz. (FSB max rate is 800MHz)

Therefore, it depends on the PROCESSOR that is being used, as to what frequency rate of Ram Memory that can be used.

[ Excuse me. Frequency Rate = 'Speed'. The layman's term ]

Ram Memory typically operates at HALF of the frequency rate, of the FRONT SIDE BUS for the Processor.

Have a Processor that has a maximum FSB frequency rate of 800MHz?
You can use Ram Memory that operates at a frequency rate of 400MHz, or 333MHz. (Do recommend using PC3200, however)

Have a Processor that has a Maximum frequency rate of 533MHz?
You can use DDR Sdram at 333MHz. (PC2700)

The Intel D101GGC uses DDR Sdram ram memory.
DDR Sdram at 333MegaHertz = PC2700
DDR Sdram at 400MHz = PC3200

There are TWO ram memory expansion slots.
The MAXIMUM for EACH ram memory slot is 1GigaByte. (1GB)
The Maximum TOTAL Amount for the motherboard is 2GB.

ALWAYS make SURE you have a ram memory module ('Stick'), in Slot 1 (DIMM 1)
A Processor reads Slot 1 first. If there is no ram memory in Slot 1, the computer will not work.

How to know what the FSB is of the processor, you have currently installed?
I suggest using the free CPU-Z,

The above link shows the default screen for CPU-Z. The screen that automatically comes up when you open CPU-Z.

There are tabs across the top that you click on, to get other information. (Caches, Mainboard, Memory, SPD, Graphics, About)

Let's look at the Processor example shown.

1) Name: Intel Core i7 860
It is an Intel Core i7 processor, and the model number is 860,

5) Core Voltage: 1.216 V
Looking at the Wikipedia link, you can see this processor's voltage range is 0.65 to 1.4 Volts.
Or stated as 0.650 to 1.400 Volts. It is -> DC Voltage.

The 1.216 Voltage stated, is what that Processor is using now.
It is real time information.

6) Specification: Intel (Registered trademark) Core (TradeMark) i7 CPU.

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply -> Processor, for short.

8) 860 = Intel Model Number
@2.80GHz stands for 2.80GigaHertz. The MAXIMUM frequency rate that the processor is designed to operate at.

9) Family, Model, Stepping, Ext.Family, Ext.Model, and Revision, are Intel technology factors, for this processor.
What Family of Processors it was developed from, what Model design, what stepping it uses, what Revision of design, and etc.

10) Instruction: The Instruction Sets, or instruction set architecture, it uses.
The basic MMX, and SSE, and variations of the SSE instruction sets, and further development of Instruction Sets through the years.

11) Forget about the Cache column. What you are concerned with is under the Clocks (Core#0) subheading.

I just stated the above, so you might have a better understanding, of what you are looking at.
(Also it may spark something inside you, to join a Research and Development team, and design future computer technology. Who knows, right? )

12) Core Speed:
Again with the 'Speed'. It is Frequency Rate.
This is the maximum 'speed' that the Processor will operate at.
(Maximum frequency rate)

When you have CPU-Z going, you can watch this frequency rate, change. It is showing Real Time information. AS IT HAPPENS.

13) Multiplier: The multiplier times the internal clock 'speed', of the Processor.

Forget about the information shown. It is for an Intel Core i7 processor, and this processor operates on a much different technology, than the Intel processor in your computer.

What you are concerned with is shown in the box, to the right of -
Bus Speed.

A) If you have a Processor with a 533MHz FSB, the number shown will be 133.2
Why?
Because Intel processors are 'Quad Pumped'
133.2 times 4 = 532.8
This is rounded up to 533, or 533MHz.

If you have an Intel processor with a Front Side Bus of 800MHz, the number in the box will be 200.6
200MHz (Rounded down)

Processor with an 800MHz FSB? Use PC3200.
(DDR Sdram at 400MHz)

Processor with a 533MHz FSB? Use PC2700.
(DDR Sdram at 333MHz)

problems or trouble typically found on mobile phones can be categorized into
Three damage categories, namely:
1. Software Problem category
2. Hardware Problem category
3. Problem Category his SW and HW
Phone problems and solutions
1. Total dead cell phone
Mobile phones exist three kinds of die total, die total because of
· Die alone,
· Total death due to falls, and
· Death total for the taxable water.
a. Total death because death itself.
Handling:
The first can be done early steps following
- Remove the battery and plug in again, or try using another battery and try turn it
- Check the battery connector and try the press to see the level of flexible or not,
replace damaged when new.
- Connect the charging of the phone, when the indicator on the phone in and still will not turn on, then obviously you can not live on mobile phones because of interference from IC PA (Power Amplifier). After IC PA revoked your mobile phone can turn it on again. And so no signal will be installed a new PA IC.
- When the tide does not exist and charging indicator on the phone still does not want to live on should be conducted further tests using power supply. But there may also have an ugly tin on the PCB, remove the IC PA solution, then clean the tin on the PCB where IC PA stick, replace the old IC PA, HP switch, it must be a flame.
Examination with power supply:
Necessary power supply on a scale of 1 ampere ampere (A) or 1000 mA.
With the aim that the examination can be more easily and clearly.
The steps are as follows:
- Connect the cable from the power supply to the mobile phone battery connector of at least three wires, with a negative sequence, BSI and positive. (Black, green and red)
- Navigate volt power supply at 3.6 V (or in accordance with tolerance Hp-0.5 V)
- Mobile phones in the state of OFF, and press the button on

- At the time the phone is in off state, refer to the power supply needles amperes will increase by 100mA.
- The phone will start, LED lights, VIBRA vibrate.
Handling:
- Remove the IC UI, then turn on the phone.
- Then there is the display on the LCD mobile phone "Insert SIM Card".
- Put new IC UI.
- Turn on the phone, the phone will work fine.
3. Total dead cell phone because the CPU IC.

- Needles amperes will not move when the phone is still in a state of death.
- We turn on the phone and then used to make calls, then the needle will show the number of amperes above 400mA.
Handling:
- Replace with a new IC PA, after re-testing was done as above, if the needle test results show the figures below 400mA amperes, the phone is in good condition.

friend hp this fault make from two reasons first of all voltage that you give low voltage to your cpu please diagnose it and make a powerfull voltage connection for your cpu and 2nd is definatly your ram so replace your ram. your old ram will run in another cpu but not in that one so you can replace it easly.

My Dell cooling fan now runs at a high speed and the computer will not turn on. I robbed one from an older Dell, and got a message that the (new-old) fan wasn't working, (The plug was smaller then mine)but...


The cooling fan racing is a symptom of a No Post state in the Motherboard. The Power LED and diagnostic LED indications would be helpful in resolving your issue. If the power LED is flashing Amber, the power supply is suspect, solid Amber points to the motherboard or something connected to it. The DIAG LEDs 1234 on the front or ABCD on the back give more specific information.

Initial Impression, is motherboard failure, post the DIAG and Power LED indications for more exact diagnosis
