SOURCE: 14" Ryobi petrol chainsaw will only run for 10 seconds

You are on the right track. Keep priming which indicates the fuel mixture is too lean to run. In other words the fuel line is partially clogged up. A drop of water on the gas tank would cause this problem. The fuel is fed on the suction basis. So clean up the fuel tank, (disassembly the carburator) reservoir, needle, float, offrice and fuel filter. A can of carburator cleaner (spray one) is a big help.

Jonsered Parts Model 361 & Model E61 Where can I find?

The 361 was a badged engineered machine, it was manufactured by TML in Canada, they produced machines for many other manufacturers, Danarm, Frontier, to name a few, it is an old machine from the mid 1980s, there are no parts available from Jonsered, but try the web for these other makes, Husqvarna had a machine much the same from them the Husky 35, and the Husky 37, try the web for these models.
Good luck

Well, I have been given a Danarm 13'' chainsaw and it is very reluctant to start. I know that it runs but feel sure it needs a tune. There are adjuster screw labeled high and low. Are these to do with the...

Yes. Initial settings should be (lightly turn in screws to seat them) Low (L) 1 turn out, High (H) 1-1/4 turn out. check some basics

Basics to check:
1) Spark plug - brown or dark brown - OK
a) is it carbon or fuel fouled
b) is there spark

2) Muffler remove for inspection
a) exhaust screen clean or plugged
b) inspect cylinder wall/piston as the flywheel is slowly rotated
3) Check cylinder compression

Fuel starvation - 'lean fuel' condition
Basic things to check:
1) spark plug
2) spark arrestor in muffler
3) fuel lines and tank filter
4) turn adjustment needles out (counterclockwise) 1/4 to 1/2 turn
Chain Saws:
5) check impulse tube and intake boot for cracks or leaks
*if all of the above are OK and/or do not improve performance then:
Remove Carburetor
6) replace gaskets/diaphragms
a) use a spray carb cleaner to clean jets, holes, and body of carb
b) fuel pump diaphragm goes against the carb body,
then the gasket towards the outside
c) metering gasket goes against the carb body,
and the diaphragm goes towards the outside
