I would carefully remove gas cap and clean with mild soap and hot water using tooth brush to clean dirt and dust from both sides of cap. If possible blow out with air and mak sure it is thorgouhly dry before you put it back on your saw. If this does'nt help I would try anew cap. Hope this helps. Thanks

Is there a check valve in the fuel system? when I shut off engine, gas runs back to tank, cranks a long time to get it back and start up, will almost drain battery after it sits for a week!

if its running back to tank after engine shuts off it souds like your fuel tank vent is clogged in your fuel cap...try loosening your cap and see if it quits siphoning back towards tank. you may have gotten dust or dirt in the tiny hole or holes in top of gas cap.

Gas leaks out of husqvarna 350 when in use

when you refer to using it i take that as your motor is running properly which rules out the fuel supply lines, and the primer bulb .. probaly one of two things check the gas cap and make sure it has a washer and makes a liquid tight seal and inspect the tanke for any hairline cracks that begin to drip when the motor is at idle, if it could also b the primer return line that vents back to the tank ethanol has a bad habit of eating up fuel lines on two cycles

Hitachi Gas Air Compressor just stops running

The problem that you describe could be fuel lock due to failure of vent system in gas cap. Easy to check; leave gas cap loose run engine as normal. If problem gone, replace cap with new vented cap. The newer gas caps (California caps) have much smaller vent holes that seem to clog when moving the compressor at too steep of angle causing gas to enter cap choking vent. Temp fix would be to cut small piece from rubber gasket large enough to let air to enter tank. Good luck with your repair.

Have a husqvarna 350,gas tank seems to build pressure causing saw to die out.

Replace the filler cap. The vent is located in the cap.

Runs good for about an hour, then needs 15-30 minute rest period

When it's about to quit, quickly undo the gas cap. If it roars back to life, you have a vacuum problem, where the vents aren't letting air into the gas tank to replace the used fuel, so after a while, gravity isn't sufficient enough to pull gas from the tank until is sits and equalizes for a while.

Husqvartna Gas Vent

Hi

First check the fuel filter ,inside of the gas tank:After that, try to find out where is the airating sistem(gas tank vent):For example a hose with a sprig into it,or any other sistem. Check it.
