Question about Samsung PN50C7000 50 in. TV

PN50C7000 3d video blurring on and off. First I thought it must be aproblem with my 3d blu-ray player BD-C5900, but this issue happens even with the trailers in 3D App on internet@. I have installed firmware 1030.1, which was supposed to correct the problem, but no use. This is really frustrating.

    Thank you for the suggestion, if nothing else works then that is the route I am planning to take.

    But I had contacted the Samsung service department and they sent over a technician to solve the issue. They replace the main module in the TV, which was not able to update the firmware.

    After that, I installed the firmware 1030.1 and the blurring hasn't gone away.

    So I called back samsung, who asked me to talk to the servicing agent again and I called them back.

    They told me that I hada a new module and the latest firmware, so the TV is good and the problem might be with the source and asked me to try watching the 2D to 3D conversion.

    2D to 3D is working ok.

    SO I was wondering if I have to change any settings to get the tv working right?

Ok, perhaps the firmware update didn't "Take" please try to do it again. Work through it all again,and see what happens.
I feel your frustration and rightfully so, you have every right to be indignant this should never happen on an expensive piece of equipment such as this. This is totally unacceptable in the extreme.
This is what we call in the industry a "Manufacturers Defect", one acknowledged by Samsung, and ostensibly addressed by the Ahem ... "Update".
If it were me I would take it back and make them set it to rights, and you really shouldn't be charged either, this should all be covered by the manufacturers warranty.
One may get more flies with honey than vinegar as the saying goes, but that tempered with a firm no nonsense attitude can work wonders.
Contact Samsung head office, direct, ask to speak to the service manger or even get through to the GM, indicate just how upset and annoyed you are at their fine product letting you down, and how you are suffering through no fault of your own, and simply because you trusted them and bought their brand. now you are at a loss as to what to do and how to fix it, etc etc....

BDe5900 will not reset

Hold stop button for 6 seconds, then it will reset the entire player, then try again.

Watching netflix and movie stops for a bit and then starts and again stops etc

are you using a wireless connection? It might be buffering. Can you plug the player directly into your router/network via Ethernet?

C5900 blu ray won't connect to Internet@tv

You may have to follow the owner manual and do a full setup of all features the unit has.

I cant play some 3D disc, for example ,2010 Fifa world Cup Film.

Please check the regional code given at the back of DVD cover. It should be compatible with the ones given in the manual of your DVD player. If not compatible the DVD will not be played.

Hi, I have a Samsung Blu-Ray BD-C5900 and I it does not play all regions DVD's, I would like to play all regions on m Blu-Ray, is there a code that can set this up?

Turn your BD on without cd in it, wait until appear no disk on screen.
Use this combination : Repeat-5-6-7-3-2-9
You should seen "9" on right of screen.

I have a problem with my Samsung BD C5900 blu ray player. When I try to activate the internet @ TV function it will not open the internet page. It instead tries to load a new firmware. A icon appears...

I have just installed the BD C5900 and have exactly the same problem. Spoke to Samsung and they say your have to switch the blu-ray off and on the front of the blu-ray player itself press and hold the stop button for approx 30 seconds (small square symbol). This is a master reset. You then follow the set-up procedure as you did when you first installed the blu-ray. I did this and mine works fine now and has the latest software version BSP-C5900WWB-1009.1 installed okay now, and everything including internet accessable once again..

Bd c5900 + Samsung PS50C680 tv trying to turn itself on. When I try to select internet@tv it stays on installing, the icon next to it keeps rotating but it goes nowhere even after 3 hours. If I try this...

When this happens you need to perform a hard reset of the Blu-ray player, i.e. turn it off then on at the wall.

You should then be able to access internet@tv once the Blu-ray player has been reset.

Unfortunately this seems to happen quite regularly - I guess we need to wait for another firmware update to provide a proper fix!
