Hi, first of all check the fuse on the circuit board.
If the fuse is good check for continuity between the fuse and L3 (drive motor terminal) - If this circuit is open the PCB is bad and must be replaced.
If this is not the issue then it is very possible that there is poor electrical contact between the Touch Pad and the Contact Board. Before replacing the Keypad Assembly check for a foreign material between the Touch Pad and the Contact Board. Examples of foreign material include grease, cooking residue, moisture, or residue from cleaning agents. Circuit board cleaner or equivalent (available from electronic supply stores) should be used to clean the keypad assembly. To diagnose the keypad: 1. Disconnect the Keypad Molex plug at the Main PCB and attach leads of an Ohm meter to pins #12 and #13.
2. Push the UP/DOWN button. This must show a closed circuit If the above test does not show a closed circuit, perform the following. - Check for grease or any foreign material between the Touch Buttons and the contact board. Clean with an electronic contact cleaner as described above. - Repeat test above. - If the contacts are clear, replace the keypad assembly. - If the circuit is closed, check for 120VAC between contacts N3 and L3 on the main PCB. If voltage is not present, replace the main PCB.

Why does a/c quit blowing out of vents under heavy acceleration?

You may have a vacuum leak in the system. The vent doors operate under vacuum from the engine. There is usually a vacuum "tank" under the dash that stores some vacuum to keep things stable under such acceleration conditions, since engine vacuum drops very low during those times. If there is a leak in the system somewhere, this vacuum bleeds off too fast and the blend door will retract to the default position, which is normally to the defroster vents. Once you get back to normal driving, the vacuum recovers, and the door will go back to where you wanted it.

Kenmore retractable vent keeps randonly going up and down , sometimes for 6-7 times before it will stop. How do we fix it?

I hope you have the $400 appliance insurance. I had the same problem in a new house purchase. First the downdraft wouldnt work, and then wouldnt stop.
It was a micro switch and motherboard issue. Took four visits by the (insurance paid for) techie to get and fit the right part. Good luck

Porter cable 15ga finish gun pin doesnt retract after firing

Porter cable uses a rubber band around the cylinder as check seal to push cylinder up. Pull cylinder and make sure that the band is place around series of holes in cylinder (about center of the cylinder ). If the band is in place then check for too much air leaking out of the nose due to worn/cracked bumper or lower bushing (washer with slot). If bumper and lower washer good, suspect debris in head vent preventing air form excaping or the shaft if the driver is bent (easy to check, driver should be easy to push back up from down position). Good luck

Hammer doesn't retract

Assuming there is no air leaking from the gun, the check seal (part #175520) causes piston to retract. It is a band that fits around the cylinder and covers vent holes in cylinder. You can use orings in place of band (or be creative). Other reasons for piston not returning to top include bent driver, worn piston oring, or cylinder/ oring lacking oil. Good luck

sears labor is 137 plus parts. that is something that would need to be looked at. it could be a few different things. if he is handy he can open it up to see if anything is misaligned or broken. the vent may even just be a little crooked and once straight may go up and down like normal

Kitchenaid downdraft retractable vent

Your drive motor arm is not making contact with either of the two limit switches at 6 and 12 positions. Your arm may be loose, gear stripped, broken bracket. Turn off the power at the breaker panel and remove the vent pipe cover box (4 nuts) see what is going on inside. Tellstar
