To deactivate Demo Mode, follow these steps:
1. Press UTILITY
2. Press > at the bottom-right corner of the screen
3. Press Demo under the screen
4. Rotate the Push Select knob counter clockwise to change the setting for Start Demonstration to Never
To return to Demo Mode later, you can follow these same steps, selecting an option other than Never for the
Start Demonstration setting.
Thank you and enjoy,

I have done several firmware updates. Both the .RFU file and the easy install and i keep getting the resend upgrade error. Please help

Are you sending via USB or network? I have found that if the original version on a machine is very old, trying to install the latest does not always work. If you can post the original firmware version number and the one you are trying to install, I can check my archive if I have a version in the middle somewhere.

How do you get the remote out of safe mode. please help. came back from out of town and the remote says safe mode. changed the batteries and still the same thing.

Hello,

The remote usually enters Safe Mode when the battery is removed and reinstalling the battery while holding the Power button - My guess is that this started when you were replacing the batteries or there may be a corruption.

To get out of it, do a firmware update from your PC. This will install the latest firmware and your configuration. Safe mode is a bootstrap designed to recover from firmware corruption issues so about the only thing it knows how to do is reload firmware.

Good luck.

My sansa e260 goes black after showing sandisk start up screen and does the same when plugged into a pc. it starts to refresh database and then the screen goes black.

Hi there

When you say the screen goes black even after disconnecting the device from computer it could be an issue with the firmware.
It might need to have updated firmware. To get the updated firmware please go www.sandisk.com.

Where you can get the latest firmware for your model.
*** Make sure when you update the firmware keep the device in MSC mode.

Firmware update wont load!!!

Once you get the firmware problem solved the library software should be loaded on a PC or Mac then hook up the USB device or IPOD as a USB drive to that computer. The library software will build search tables on the USB device when selected as Full option in the software. The keyboard should search then......

My sansa e280 mp3 player stopped working i dnt knw y

Hi,

I'm unable to assume the exact problem with your mp3 player as you've bluntly said that the device is not working. Try the following steps and that should work. If not let me know:

SOLUTION 1 - Reset the device
Resetting the Sansa View/Fuze
Resetting the e200/c200 series
SOLUTION 2
 - Reload and update to the latest firmware
STEP 1 - Enable MSC or Recovery mode
Enable MSC mode on e200v2 / c200v2 / Fuze
Force Recovery mode on e200v1 / c200v1 / e200R / View

STEP 2 - Update to the latest firmware
You may need to upload the firmware manually, there are instructions on the links below on how to manually update your firmware
Sansa Fuze firmware update
Sansa View firmware update
Sansa e200 series firmware update
Sansa c200 series firmware update

v. Right Click on the device and select Update Drivers
vi. Select 'No, not at this time' and click Next
vii. Select 'Install from a list or specific location' and then click Next
viii. Select 'Don't search, I'll choose the driver to install' and then click Next
ix. Select 'MTP Device' and then click Next. This should install the device and then should be ready for use

PS3 Retail Demo Mode

In security settings press and hold select + square + L1 and L2

than enter 1 of these following codes depending on your version number

1.5x code: 5202
1.6x code: 7568
1.7x code: 0506
1.8x code: 7712 or 7259

and the ps3 will be unlocked from demo mode.
but be aware that this will only be for a couple of minutes.
so make sure you have the latest firmware the not demo one but the ordinary from the playstation site on a removable storage media
something like a memory stick or flash drive

so you can update immediately after unlocking you ps3! only this way you can completely unlock your system!!

Sansa not starting in mtp mode.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
-----
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
