Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
I recently changed all four ink cartridges following the indication that they wsere nearly empty. However, the computer screen shows that the yellow cartridge is still nearly empty, with the result that I am unable to print anything (even just a black only text) and no incoming faxes. I have again replaced the yellow ink cartridge, but with the same result.
I have acted upon a solution #1 today from goldflack that i should reinstall the printer software and then try it. But no required result.
Unplug mfc from power outlet. take all carts out and leave scanner open. wait a minute. replug to power. wait until machine demands carts. insert one after another and ANSWER display! Close cover.
NEVER change cart until mfc stopps printing (near empty is a reminder to buy new ones :-))
