I guess the problem is that all images are getting compressed and you need to mention that i should not say that this is a virus issue and not suggest you to update your antivirus.
I will certainly don't.

Coming to the point.
Do you want to know the problem ?

there are faulty settings in your compression utility. like winzip or winrar or whichever you us What has happened is you have mistakenly .bmp format to faviorates to manage it with winzip or winrar.that's why is has converted all and continues to do so .it is not a virus issue just a problem with compression utility.
To handle this just repair your winzip from control pannel. or uninstall and again reinstall.

another conflicting applicatin for this case is microsoft outlook

When you install Outlook 2003, you haver been asked if you wanted to enable the automatic compression of attachments using ZIP format. you should to disable this now
if you can't just re-ingtall or repair outlook .

Hope this helps.
Thanks....

In Windows there is a setting that tells it to compress the files that are rarely accessed to save space on the hard drive. You can turn it off if you want that.
First you need to decompress them: move all the compressed photos to a different location - ideally in a different hard drive. Select them all and right click, click Properties, under the General tab, click on the Advanced button, uncheck Compress contents to save disk space and click on OK all the way out - the files will be uncompressed. Leave the files there - if necessary make your own Photos folder - and never use the My Documents and all the other folders from there.
To permanently disable the NTFS compression go to this site
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/102506-ntfs-compression-disable-enable.html
and download and run the small file.

How to quickly reinstall your Operating System

We all have problems with our operating systems. A good practice is to reinstall from time to time. Some experts recommend 3 months, other ones recommend 6 months. The point is to reinstall when you need to. Maybe your operating system will work perfectly for a year. But for the ones of you that are using it at its full capacity it is a very good practice and of course safe.

Some of us are frightened to reinstall the operating system not for the process itself, but for the other 3rd party software you install after that. We lose a lot of time, looking for the discs and the keys for the specific software.

Well here is a quickly solution and a comfortable one in my opinion.
You could do the following at the next reinstallation of your operating system.

I will present the process step by step:
-Reinstall your O.S. as normally. Make all your custom settings( disable the error report, disable remote, automatic updates, etc);
-Install all the drivers for your computer in the proper order (chipset, vga, sound, etc);
-Install all the software that you need (Ms Office, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Python, Visual Studio, Min Gw studio, etc- these are pure examples);
-Make further settings for your operating system and applications;

For the final steps of the process you will need a Hiren's Boot CD. Here is a link to all its components: http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd . The following link is for downloading the content of the future CD: http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ . After downloading, burn it on a CD.

The next steps are:
-Restart your computer
-Select from the boot menu to boot from CD
-Select run BootCD from the menu- This is for the newer versions of the software. Also on the newer version you have a Mini Windows XP- very helpful, but I will explain it in another review.
-The software the you will use from the CD is Norton Ghost. The exact key combination for the program is: 2-2 (press 2 and another menu will appear. In this one press again 2 for Norton Ghost)
-Another menu will appear for the type of Ghost images that you want. You may want to split the image- you do not need additional software.
-Run the suitable application for you.
-For making the image the steps are: partition-to image- select the hard drive- select the partition that you will recover later- select the path- give a name- and select a compress rate. (I recommend a fast one)
-For recovering the image: partition- from image- select the image- select the hard drive- select the partition.

After recovering from that image you will have the O.S. as you installed it. You can use the image as many times as you want. It won't deteriorate.

Also you can use the image on different computers with the same configuration. Just be careful with the partitions. You can use Partition Magic, also present on the CD.

The time of the process varies because of the hard drive(how fast it is), the compress rate. But it will not take longer than installing all of those again.

It is a difficult process only the first time, because after that the O.S. will be ready in a couple of minutes, with just a few clicks.

Oh, and do not forget to backup the important files and documents before recovering your partition.

When I import from my Samsung SM-X F30BP Camcorder images compressed H.246 file extention mp4 I only get pictures but no sound. How can I get the sound . Using windows 10

It's possible that you don't have a CODEC for the sound file. Try downloading K-Lyte CODEC pack. Make certain it is for Windows 10. (it is free). I use the Major Geeks site for getting the Codecs. Less chance of spyware etc.

Setting dpi on my nikon d3100

DPI (dots per inch) is an output specification and is irrelevant to the camera. The camera puts a value into the field simply because it has to put something there. The DPI is set by the printing program when it prints a picture. A picture printed at 4x6 will obviously have more dots per inch than the same picture printed at 8x10.

Greetings, I have a Dell v313w. I am trying to scan some pencil drawing my teen kids drew. When I save them to a file (JPG or GIF) it consistantly seems to cut off parts of the drawing. I thought...

it seems that jpg loses info when it compresses the image, here http://download.cnet.com/Office-Convert-PDF-to-JPG-JPEG-TIFF-Free/3000-10743_4-10900900.html?tag=mncol;2 is software that you can get for free from cnet.com that will convert you pdf scan into a jpg, etc, ( have not tested it myself, yet, as I don't have my scanbed with me, but will DL it and see if it works) it does have a good rating for it on the site and it will be spyware-free.

After downloading the software in a computer, how to in stall the software in the computer

What is the format of the downloaded files? Is it in an image, eg. iso, img. daa...etc... or is the files compressed in a Zip, Rar...etc... format?

If it is in the image format, you can use a 'virtual drive' which support the image format to load the image to do the installation. Or your can burn the the image files to a CD/DVD and install the software from the burned CD/DVD.

If it is a compressed file, you have to extract contents of the compressed file to a folder and look for a setup/installer.exe in the folder and install the software.

Hope it helps.

When trying to install 56k modem drivers get install fail message. Is it the disc?

If you have ANY anti-virus, spyware, scumware, adware, etc running in the background, disable these first.
Try installing the program/drivers in safe mode.
Go to the manufacturers website and download current drivers.
These are generic answers, if you still need help, please be more specific on make, model of modem, OS (operating system), ok?

Blue blur on part of the screen...toshiba ultra vision

Do you normally leave this set on a specific channel...such as CNBC or BLOOMBERG tv...etc that maintains a regular scrolling image???

If so...on sets that are a few/several years old...the projection tv screens can develop what's called a "burn" or "burned image" on the screen...similar to wearing a path in your carpet from heavy traffic areas. Newer models do not have this issues...but many older ones do.

MFC 8420 Problem

Hi, .inf are product information files and tells the computer the specific brand/model and drivers needed for your all-in-one and are OS specific. They are normally found inside a folder named DRIVER with other files such as .cab, .dll, .sys, etc. The installer sometimes compresses all of these files in an .exe, .zip or .rar to reduce file sizes. Double clicking on the download compressed/installer will expand or auto-install. Your download must match the brand/model of the all-in-one and your operating System, XP, Vista etc. Your drivers/installers may be found here > welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public/us/us/en/dlf/download_top.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc8420_us Hope this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up or if we can be of further assistance. Cheers.
