Manual:

59203 plug-in timer: your outdoor lights have to plug into side of timer.

If you want a timer to replace outdoor light switch: buy in-wall timer Aube T1032 or Lowes sells Utilitec 0192773.

Here are instructions for 59203 plug-in timer:
Plug in the timer until battery is charged.
Unplug timer so you can program easily.
Press R reset button with paper clip to clear.

Set the time of day:
Press and hold clock button
Press hour button until current hour shows
Press minute button until current minute shows
Press day button until current day shows.
Release clock button

Program review:
Write out ON-off schedule showing hours minutes and days
For example: timer turns ON 6:00 pm all days of week.
Timer turns OFF 1:00 am all days of week.
First step: Set program1 ON > hour, minute, and day.
Next step: Set program1 OFF > hour, minute, and day

If needed, go to next step: Set program2 ON > hour, minute, and day
Next: Set program2 OFF > hour, minute, and day

How to program timer for ON at 6:00 pm and OFF at 1:00 am all days of week:
Step 1: Press PROGRAM button until display shows 1 ON (this is program1 ON)
Press hour button until 6 pm shows
Press minute button until :00 shows
Press day button until all days of week show (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU)

Step 2: Press PROGRAM button until display shows 1 OFF (this is program1 OFF)
Press hour button until 1 am shows
Press minute button until :00 shows
Press day button until all days of week show (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU)

If you want to set another program, you will repeat same steps for program2
Press PROGRAM button until display shows 2 ON

If you are done programming, press clock button
Press ON/AUTO/OFF button until AUTO displays

I have a 7-DAY DIGITAL-IN-WALL TIMER model number #141224. I have tried calling you peopel at least 6 times, staying on the phone for as long as a hour, and I still cant get you. I am having...

A) Open following link to identify timer and download instructions.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0141224.html

B) This timer is for single pole only and will not work for 3-way switching.
Timer does not have astronomical function.

C) If lights are blinking, timer is wired incorrectly.
Heres what to do
1) Timer-green-wire connects to bare ground wire.
2) Switch has 2 wires. Take switch wires and connect them to timer-black-wire and timer-red-wire. Choose either one for now.
3) In back of electric box are white wires twisted together and covered with wire nut. Connect timer-white to these wires.
4) If electric box does not have white wires described above, then connect timer-white to bare ground, along with timer-green wire.
5) Turn on electricity, and push ON-OFF button. If lights come on, timer is wired correctly. If lights do not come on, then reverse timer-red and timer-black wires.

D) If you have trouble with programming, add a comment and say specifically where you are having problem for return comment.
I have programmed and tested this timer. Information above is accurate and tested.

Have a similar question to the others asked about the GE Smart Digital Timer 7 day timer model 15086. I originally got the wires connected but the exterior lights remained in on position. The manual...

Wiring instructions and on-line manual appear on following link.
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#15071

I have tested this timer, but I'm not there to test it out for you.
Let me offer a troubleshoot list how I would start.
1) Switch located behind timer door that says OFF-TIMER. Make sure it is set to Timer.
2) 4 square buttons located behind timer door that sit in each corner. These are override buttons, and should turn lights on-off. Push each one separately.
3) Check wiring against instructions shown on link above. This timer will not operate unless wired correctly.
4) Ground wire broken off? Each cable that enters a box can be pulled a bit further so maybe you can grab some of the ground.
The ground is not critical for timer operation -UNLESS- you are using it to power electronic clock inside timer.
Normally white neutral wire is used for clock electronics, as described in wiring instructions.
5) Conflicts in programming. If 7-day programming has conflicting days or hours, timer will not operate as expected.
Check programming.
6) Reset timer and start over.
7) I test timers, and some arrive defective. GE makes a good timer, manufacturing timers for many decades: 15086 is sold at Home Depot. Buy another one and take back defective one.

I lost the instructions for programming my IIIWoods digital timer, and can't figure it out. Please tell me how to get a copy of these instructions. Thanks, John Rinderer

Check following link to identify timer and download manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html

Woods timers go by more than 1 number and are repackaged and sold under different brands >> a few older Woods timers and promotional timers don't have manual on line.
