When I play call of duty 4 online, I can't invite a friend of mine....and he cant invite me either. When we each send an invite, it says.."unable to connect to host". Whenever another friend of mine invites each of us, we automatically get connected to his party. Is there a setting issue?

under "Routers", find your router type. Then find both "Call of Duty 4" and "Xbox Live 360". Follow those steps. Hopefully that should help; if not, make sure your router has the latest firmware updates downloaded.

if one ends i unk & the other ends in us then this is why you cnanot join or you cannot connect to host
