Cleaning the printheads takes a few minutes, and when it completes, a page prints.
Have you been using the Printheads for long time and not changed them ?
Seems like this could be problem with the Printheads and they need cleaning.
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue
Method one: Clean printheads in Solution Center
Method two: Clean printheads from the control panel
Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
In HP Solution Center
, click Settings
, and then click Printer Toolbox
Select the Services
tab, and then click Clean Printheads

The printhead cleaning process begins. This process takes a few minutes.

If the page shows streaks
, repeat steps 1 through 4 up to two times before continuing to Step four: Examine Test Pattern 3.
Also, Remove the Printheads and clean the Electrical contacts ( not the nozzle from where the ink is sprayed ) with lint free cloth ( little damped in water )
Method three: Replace one or both printheads

Open the cover.
Make sure paper is loaded in Tray 1.

Lift the printhead latch.

Lift the handle of a printhead, and use it to pull the printhead out of its slot.

installing a new printhead, shake the printhead up and down at least
six times while the printhead is still in its packaging.

Remove the new printhead from its package, and then remove its orange protective caps.
Do not shake printheads after the caps are removed.

the printhead into its color-coded slot (the label on the printhead
must match the label on the printhead latch). Press down firmly on the
printhead to ensure proper contact.

Close the cover, then wait while the device initializes the printheads and prints the alignment pages.
