It shots off suddenly and a blue screen with white letter comes up

Hello try to visit the homepage here:

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=381&MenuID=1&LanID=0

And install any missing drivers if needed for the mainboard.

Please select your windows system

Try also to renew the graphic cad driver.

Or renew the graphic card.

Your mainboard has the 1 x AGP 8X/4X graphic card slot.

Try to start in failsafe mode by pressing F8 when boot up.

I think your graphic card is failing.

Good luck

Resoultion of screen

Mainly the problem is faced when either your graphic driver is not installed or installed improperly (not the one which is required by the system). You need to look for the required graphic / vdo driver for your system as per your operating system.

My soundcard is now working, but the graphics card isnt displaying the rite resolution, HELP PLZ

Install the graphics card drivers just as you did the sound cards. Then the resolution should display perfectly if you set it up to the maximum. The lettering should be crisp and clear. Hope this helps =]

Monitor lcd acer al2016w 20" letters and image are fuzzy,,why?

I also have an Asrock motherboard (M266A) and have the AL2216W. The image and text is also fuzzy. I did improve it a by by unplugging/replugging all of the connectors on the back of the computer. I believe my mouse had a somewhat loose connection and this was causing interference. I can actually create interference on screen by moving my mouse up and down.
These Acer monitors seem to be very sensitive. I also tried this monitor on a old Desktop with Win98 and another new laptop with XP and it looks good on those computers, but not on my Asrock based system.

No input signal

Check connections, Hertz rate, and settings (if you can read them). Otherwise, it may be time to whip out the cash and get a new monitor and/or computer.
