Question about Kodak EasyShare C913 Digital Camera

When I transfer the photos to my laptop my camera seems to ignore some of the them - I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get them all to transfer. I normally use the select and transfer option but even selecting the ones i want doesn't work.

Get a separate card reader and use it to download the pics to a folder you create on your desktop. Once there, you can drag and drop the selected pics anywhere you want. When I transfer the photos to my laptop my camera - typrice_21.jpg

How can i transfer photo files from my lap top, iphone ,or camera using usb connections

On every device, PC, laptop, tablet or phone you need a program to transfer files to and from. The device has to recognise the device that is connected. It also needs instructions what to do.
On the PC, you also need a driver for the connected hardware, And if you want to move files (Pictures are files too) you need a transfer program. Most camera's do have a CD, with the needed software for Windows and Mac. Phones and Tablets need an App. Most transfer and phone view apps are free. And yes there are also apps you can buy, but even for Apple you can get photo (transfer and view) apps for free.
If you have an Android, goto the Google store and search for a free photo app and install it. (Snapseed is great and free)

Samsung PL50 with Samsung 2GB memory card says 'memory full' even though I've cleared down the memory via my laptop.

Have you actually formatted the card in the camera ? Just copying the photos does not remove them from the card

Hello, I have a Lumix DMC-FS10, I have found that some of my photos have downloaded to thumbprint size which won't seem to go any bigger without distortion and some are normal I unfortunately deleted...

Actually, you still might be able to get those photos back, even though they've been erased. Try not to take any more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.
This sounds like the problem may have occurred because you might not have formatted the card in your camera as recommended by the manufacturer. If true, after you've recovered your photos, format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature. This will prevent this from happening again.

The cable from my FinePix F10 is not transferring photos to laptop. It used to work, and now the message is: "An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed. Error 0x80010108"....

I'm not sure what it can be, software not properly installed, corrupted, or whatever.

You can get a card reader for a few dollars and use it instead. Easier and faster.
Download the photos and videos to a folder in your laptop. This will not affect the quality or sequence.
After you've downloaded everything, replace the card in your camera and format the card.

Deleting the pictures while connected to the computer may corrupt the card format.
Please remember to format it in your camera.
In one click the card will be empty and ready for more.

Investigate the cause of Error 0x80010108 later, right?
In the meantime you can process the images as usual.

How do you set for the smallest size photos?

ignore that it says up the top there, sorry. This one seems to be a bit weird in that you change image size in camera.

enter playback mode (the triangle button)---> then the M button----> then either the left or right buttons (the ones that you use to navigate the menu to select the resize setting---> then the up and down navigation keys to selct your desired size then the set button to set.

Hope thats all right, never really used a camera that sets image size after taking a picture seems a little weird to me, might be handy getting to grips with photoshop elements think that lets you resize images once you transfer from camera to computer, or use software supplied with the camera if it came with any..

If you are using Windows XP unplug your camera from your PC and uninstall the Kodak software. You don't need it to transfer photos to your PC. The next time you connect your camera (turn the camera on) to your computer it should recognize it and you can use Windows built in transfer software. Remove the Olympus software.
Let Windows find them with the Camera/Scanner Wizard.
It is likely the laptop has not the memory resources to receive all the photos in one hit so try in batches of 10 or so.
