Question about Computers & Internet
If you are burning out hard drives, it's likely you have poor air circulation in your pc. Hard drives get hot, esp. if you do many drive intensive operations. I had this problem couple time.. So now what I do in most of my pcs, is jerry rig a small fan blowing air over the hard drives - and /or make sure I have a extra case fan sucking air out of pc case.
buy a small fan from radio shack or similar and - for example - use wire ties to hold it in place directing air over or across drives. In Years have never had problem w/over heated drives.
You can buy hard drive cooler fan setups, but I don't like them.
