I have a bosch wta2000 dryer and it has stopped heating up. I have checked the cut off switch on the rear but it has not clicked out. Can you help suggest what is wrong and how easy is it to repair?

Check your breakers. Forcefully turn the curcuit OFF, and on again. If this solves the issue you may not have enough power to run the unit, and this requires a licensed electrician to resolve, as it is NOT just a larger breaker (fire hazard).
When the breaker trips, often the motor protion of the dryer still works.

Bosch WTA2000 tumble dryer motor turns weakly without the belt.

The brushes in the motor are probably shot. Good luck in finding those though, best to just replace the motor.

How do i replace heating element in bosch wta2000 dryer

I'm not entirely shire. Is it a newer dryer? I'm answering though to ask if your sure its the element. Very often its not. It may be a hilimit switch. There are typically 3 of them. They are attached at the drum and the housing for the element. They are safety switches about the size of a quarter. You can check them with an ohm meter or take them to a parts dealer. Google is your friend for this. Many manufactures provide manuals online.

I strat the dryer and i clicks and wont work

there is a chance that the idler pulley has hit the safety cut off.
you will need to unplug the machine. remove the entire rear panel and lid then you will need to look by the motor pulley you will see a small spring load plunger you will need to push it to the top from the bottom.also you may need to check the rest swith on the side of the heating element can it will be a small red button with two wires connected on either side of the switch make sure it is pushed in,.

Looking for manual for the bosch wta 2000 tumble dryer. thank you.

I've made a PDF of the Bosch WTA2000 Tumble Dryer User Manual and (hopefully) it will be available on this link in case anyone else still needs a copy, as the original request above is a bit old now.
It's a leeeettle blurry as I should have used a higher dpi when scanning the pages, but I can't be bothered doing it all again. I think it should be sufficient for purpose anyway.!189

Bosch Axxis Starts and stops

The lint light keeps coming on and shuts the dryer off so clothes are not dry. I checked the filter and it is clear. Now the bottom of filter is cracked (plastic part) so I need to replace. But why does the lint light come on now after 5 years of use? It never came on before even when the lint filter was full?

Intermittant heat for drier

check for flow of air through the dryer arts as it sounds like the clicking is the thermal cut out activating, this prevents the dryer from overheating, the common cause for overheating is blockage (no air flow) or the fan that blows the air round the machine is not working, or not working properly, so check the fan see if its turning etc hope i have helped, if so please rate me
