Question about GE Washing Machines
The new part has a clip in it that holds it to the shaft of the timer. Installing it is so easy. Just slip the new knob on the shaft of the timer. IF the shaft is still on the timer. Did you mean the shaft came out of the timer? In that case you would need a new timer.
