More than likely the EOC will need to be replaced unless you don't care what time it is and the other funtions are working properly. (electronic oven control)

Clock on range is not displaying.

Check the main fusebox for a tripped circuit breaker, if not that have you checked the fuse in the mains plug of the range or is it hard wired in. If both of these are fine it may well be that the clock needs to be replaced, had to do this on my cooker a while back. Several pewople Stateside are describing sypmtoms of power surges associated with power outages that have led to their device not working...bad infrastructire maintenace maybe. Whatever the case, these reports ate sufficiently numerous to make me think that power surges may well be killing lots of electronic and electrical devices everywhere

GOOD LUCK

Arietta Range Hood Setting clock

Clock programming
t The clock can be reprogrammed at any time except
during an active timed function.
t The clock can be displayed in a twelve hour form at and
valid clock times are from 1:00 to 12:59.
t The clock can be reprogrammed pressing the " Timer "
button for 3 seconds, and after, the clock can be
adjusted with the "+" and "-" buttons.
t The user can have minute increments / decrements of 1

Hello, I have the GE Spectra XL44 and after a power outage our clock either runs too fast, or too slow... either way, or clock does not keep proper time. I have turned the break off a couple of times to...

it sounds like the clock chip I.C. is defective, you could try the self diagnostics on the unit, theres a tech sheet inside the unit to help you, otherwise after the power outage there probably was a surge and it got past the M.O.V. protector and into the circuitry and ruined an i.ci. chip, also check any ribbon cables connecting the unit and control board to look for any discolored wires or damaged wires

We have a Hotpoint RB787 Electric Kitchen Range. We experienced electrical issues/ power surge and now the oven part of the stove does not work. top still works and only indicators for the top burners...

you will need to replace the control board that contains the clock readout, any power surges ruins these electronics instantly, this can be replaced by removing the rear cover on the back of the unit and remove screws securing the electronic module

My stove keeps beeping and the clock comes up with F1. what does that mean? It is electic prestige series self cleaning

Hi, This Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code cannot be canceled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC), touch pad, or both.

Timer

After you set the time ,do you push the Clock button to lock your time??If you set the clock time and walk away its not holding the time ,because its waiting for you to confirm time selected. So after you set the time press the clock key pad 1 more time .Remember this, just because you bought a new clock doesnt mean its a good part.Bad parts get the best of us ,so dont think your new part is ok yet.It probably is not.
