Question about Cell Phones
It could be a SIM card issue but you can try as my daughter did, take the battery and sim card out of your phone and let it sit for about fifteen minutes and the put your sim card and battery back into your phone and reboot it. When you reboot see if it will let you call or text, if it does not work after that take the phone back to the service providers store and they either need to give you a new SIM card or it is a technical issue with the phone and it may need to be replaced/repaired, if it is still under warranty I would go ahead and replace the phone and the sim card.
