M93p suddenly the screen goes black screen

Here's some tricks I would try...
1. Verify the monitor's power cord is plugged firmly into the wall outlet and the back of the monitor.
2. Verify the monitor cable is firmly connected to the computer and the monitor.
3. Verify that you have turned the monitor power switch on.
4. If the power light on the monitor is not on, test the wall outlet (plug in a light or something you know works).
5. If the power light on the monitor is not on, try a different power cord.
6. If the power light is on and yellow or orange or flashing, but nothing displays, or the display is incorrect, borrow a monitor from a friend. If that works, your monitor probably needs replaced.
7. Also, you could try your display on a friend's computer. If it doesn't work, your monitor probably needs replaced. If it works properly on your friends computer, the problem may be with your computers video output port, motherboard video chip (or video card, if you have one), or drivers.

Good luck

Goes black, blinks and sometimes works fine

Sometime the cross-talk of signals is caused by the wiring behind the computer, touching. Separate the wiring.

Desktop computer monitor goes black but works on other computers

It sounds like the resolution is set wrong. Go to the minimum and see if that solves the problem. If so keep working up.

My sony vaio d screen sometimes go black

Sounds like the Monitor or Video Card might be going bad. Try plugging another monitor on the computer to isolate the problem. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and plug it into the computer. If the Borrowed monitor works without going black, then your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor goes black like your original monitor, then your video card is going bad.

Display comes on, says "Digital," then goes black.

I'm not sure what's happening, but here are some questions to ask yourself:

-Are all the cables properly connected? Monitor to computer, monitor to wall?
-Is your graphics card properly inserted in your computer?
-Does the display work when plugged into a different computer?
-Is the computer plugged in and turned on?

There's a troubleshooting section in the user's manual, found here:

When computer off monitor displays orange light.when i turn computer on green light briefly on than goes out. Monitor remains black'

Hi,
This is not always a problem with the monitor. It could also be caused by a faulty display card in your computer. Try plugging your monitor into a working computer to determine where the problem lies.

Best wishes,

The monitor turns on and the computer image comes on for about a second then screen goes black again. The image that does come on is perfect.

I'm having the exact problem. I just got the new monitor & I replaced my 18". When I plug it in it flickers, when it does come on it's clear & clean; but after a few minutes it goes black. I tried to switch it to Digital & Analog, but I don't know how to fix it. I know it works, it was just plugged into my brother's computer. Is something wrong with the settings on my computer? If so, how do I fix it? I have both monitors hooked up on my computer desk right now, it's a bit crowded! PLEASE HELP ME!!!
