SOURCE: TS25AFXKQ03 whirlpool fridge freezer not working

It is possibly stuck in defrost or the compressor is trying to start but cannot. Are the lights on only? Are the fans running? Your model has a defrost timer inside the fresh food section and behind the control panel. Part number 482493 and there should be a small opening with a plastic plug covering the hole could you remove the plug and with a flathead screwdriver slowly turn the timer clockwise until compressor starts. If this does not work we will need to do some other test. Let me know what you find, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: we have an Estate Whirlpool Side by Side Fridge

You have done some good work, and you are right on the money. Yes you need a new filter. There are o-rings that seal on each filter. These wear out but when you replace the filter you naturally get new o-rings and they seal better :) These seals used to be in the housing, but you can see the problem with that. Once those wear out, you have a much worse problem replacing those then with a filter. It's perfect really, you change the filter because you have too, and get a new seal at the same time!

The ice and the cold water have a musty odor

Check if any food may have fallen inside the icebox, like frozen meat. You can also install a filter between the ice maker and the water supply to see if it solves the problem. Good luck!

Whirlpool estate, is no longer cold, for the freezer or icebox

hi,

pull it out and study the back of the fridge down where the cardboard cover is, ((careful of the water line)) sometimes the cardboard cover will come loose and get in the way of the small fan back there, if it does , it will do that, if thats not it, probably your best bet will be to call and have a guy come out and test it. craigslist has cheap side by side fridges, since theyre such a pain to replace..
good luck

Whirlpool estate washer will not spin

In the front of the machine below the door you have a panel. There are 3 torx screws holding it from under. Unscrew and pull panel down and then towards you. You will see the pump assembly right in the center with big black hoses.

You need a pair of pliers and a shop-vac if you have one, or towels and a bucket. Use the pliers to unscrew the pump filter, it is white in colour. When you unscrew this water will start to leak out; use towels or shop-vac to mop up. Do this till all water is mopped. Remove the drain trap completely, you will find much junk; clean out completely and refit carefully, in reverse order.

You can rate me……the above is for a similar(?) whirlpool.

Final spin cycle

Lots of possibilities to check out before considering a problem with the machine: Is the load unsorted, too big or off balance? Drain restricted or too high? Oversudsed? Water draining completely out before going into spin?
