Hello. The stuck cd drive door. Bin there before. Use a paper clip, bend out one of the arms of the paper clip. Look for a tinny sized pin hole on the cd drive door. Use the paper clip as a push key. Put the paper clip leg in to the hole, lightly push in and pull the cd drive door lightly toward you. Then you can take out the cd and push to closed the door. Then you can use the computer as before. But remember to keep the paper clip as your emergency key. Good Luck.

How to eject cd

Hi Vassili,
You might want to try this steps. Hope it helps.
  • Restart your Acer computer to ensure that the drive does not simply need a reset before it can eject the disk. Press the "Eject" button on the drive to confirm.
  • 2 Straighten a paper clip.
  • 3 Insert the paper clip into the small hole on the front face of the CD or DVD drive with the computer turned off. As you press the paper clip into this hole, it will manually eject the disc from the drive.

    MHC-RG270 cd draw won't open

    cd drawers often jam.
In the cd/dvd drawer you will see a small hole. Use a blunt pin or a straightened-out paper clip, insert it into the small hole and gently press. The drawer should then click open.

Try cleaning the plastic drive teeth/mechanism with a light drop of oil. Press the drawer button and it should then close. Press it again to see if the drawer opens as per normal.

If your cd drive plays a dvd as per normal but doesn't open when the button is pressed, continue using a blunt pin/paperclip. If the plastic open-close mechanism is worn or damaged there's very little you can do about it expect replace the entire drive.

I placed a cd on my cd holder and the cd fell off inside the processor. How can I get the cd out?

Use paper clip and stick it through a small just outside the cd drive (should be next to the cd button where you press to eject the cd out). Stick paper clip through this small hole until the cd door open and gently take cd disc out. Good luck

I have cd that won't eject. it is a "green" cd and is thinner that standard cd-roms. I have a Dell Vostro 1510 and am using Windows Vista premium.

There is usually a little hole in the dvd draw facia that you can push a thin object like a paper clip into. this manually opens the draw

Disk placed wrongly and cannot be read.

    • shut the computer off..
close to the eject button you will find a small pin hole
straighten out a paper clip and push it strongly into the hole and the drivr will pop open.. even if just slightly,, just pull out the draw and remove the disc.. close draw firmly and turn on pc..

the pin hole is there trust me..

I,m trying to release my cd that stock in my lab

Most CD/DVD drives that are installed in desktop computers have a tiny hole in the front panel near the eject button. Straighten a paper clip and insert it into this hole and gently push the paper clip in. This will release the draw so you can pull the drive tray out to the fully opened position then you can remove the CD.

There is always a hole on the front of the drive. Put a pin thru it and press (not very hard) and the drive lock will unlock.

(if so there a small pin hole on the cd / dvd unit you can push a paper clip into it to open the draw .
it's on the left under the draw this will eject the disc in side )

if not disc in draw can you post back more details of this disc and what the problem is .
